    I can't imagine it being an optional extra. Looks more like something that someone had made up for their car, or made themselves.

     

    Yeah it can't be, but I'm wondering if it's a one-off or if they were produced in numbers. Not something I'd go for but it looks really cool.

    Do the screw holes perish like that on all types or is it just the later ones?

     

    Those are not marble. Those are the standard black wood accent trim found on the "300zx" trim. This model trim was considered the most luxurious trim package for the 99/00 models. The black wood was used on the center bezel and the window switch bezels.

     

    There was a marble/stone center bezel that was optional. I'd have to got back and look at my brochures but this piece may have been discontinued by the time the 99/00 models were released.

    Interesting - the wood accent one is what I was thinking of, but I didn't realise they were different types.
