After seeing the excellent display of Z32s on the stand and showing the general public these fantastic examples of standard models of the marque

Well done guys

I am wondering what cars will be on the stand next year as I feel that the modified examples are being shunned unless they are included in the display

I have just located an excellent example of a very rare wide bodied Z32 and am trying to find out who made it and who has the moulds so I can attempt

to bring them over to the UK so they wopuld be readily available for the masses who once seeing them would flock to fit them

What I would like to do is to ask if there is any chance a car like this could be included on the stand at the 2016 NEC Classic Car Show

Steve, that is awesome, and should have pride of place somewhere....

we have discussed some different ideas and plans for next year, but ultimately, it depends on

a) how large a stand we get allocated after applying

b) how many owners can commit 100% to the show

but that car could take up a stand all on its own!

That would be awesome Gary, shows the racing history

We did have a discussion to see if we could get a variant of each model eg: convertible, slicktop and modded etc.. Again as Craig stated, it depends on the commitment to show the car static, for the whole weekend and size of plot, but i think next year will be one of our best

I'd be happy to stick mine in the NEC for a weekend of non-movement next year.

As long as it wasn't outshone by that gorgeous piece of automotive art that Steve posted....

LOL Steve!

The show really isn't geared towards crazily modified cars covered in fibreglass and stickers (thankfully). If you want that, go to JAE or Japfest.

The show does have proper modified cars that were used in historic racing so depending on how well they look they should not be dismissed imo.

Agreed, but having a historic racer there is a little different to having something like this there. :)

I think it could be!

If we manage to secure a bigger plot, I say show the model variants and as the 2+0 slicktop, bend the rules by demonstrating the versatility of the car; something like Jaffa's crazy racing machine would be perfect, after all a large part of the cars heritage is on a race track.

We actually spoke about this car and I think Jaffa's race car would be a great car to have there!

I'm not talking about proper race cars though - I'm talking about those hideous Max Power style bodkitted McDonalds race cars.

Away to go Roland!

Put it up there! Love it!

Bring it on for discussion!

Yup - what he said........ Good call Steve!!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
