In Greek mythology, a phoenix or phenix (Greek: φοῖνιξ phoinix) is a long-lived bird that is cyclically regenerated or reborn. Associated with the sun, a phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor.

So from the ashes or parts of Purple Rain she will be reborn !

May the new build thread begin.

Of course it will, that's what I used to run when I had 9.5" wheels. I did have my arch lips rolled slightly.

This is pretty much identical to your new setup (my old wheels)

They're a very neat looking and good quality wheel - looking forward to seeing them in 19" format! Good choice IMO.

245 30 19.

There are quite a range. Stick to one model in the P-Zero lineup. For example, P-Zero Nero.

please fit 18s looks so much better

19", with the right design look infinitely better and well proportioned. :) I ran 18s for about 8 years - with the styles I like, I never thought they looked quite in proportion with the larger proportions of the 2+2. Stick with the 19s Lee, they'll look great.

I hate to be "that guy"... but can someone please edit the title of this thread so that "Phoenix" is spelled correctly...?

It's playing havoc with my Spelling OCD!

If we're on that subject Si, I came across this the other day!

No no, I think he just means they build the car in-house for you. You're not allowed bring it to them.

One Fairlady Z please!

Fixed!

Seamless!

I've got after market camber arms and adjustable lower arms so I can adjust them out enough without the need for spacers.

Missed this...dude, WTF!? You can't compensate offset with camber adjustment....unless you want your car to look like a 2CV!

I agree with si on the fittment,Just as an extra benchmark for you.

I'm running a 19 x 9.5 on the back with a 265/30 and get a slight rub on std arches (to be corrected), I think with a roll you gain around 10mm so a 275 should be fine. This is running around 1 deg of camber.

At the front I run a 19 x 8.5 with a 235/35 no rub and really needs a 5-10mm spacer to be flush.

If you plan on this setup, get the real rolled before you respary unlike me :hammer:

First quote in for my tyres, although I thing i'll go with 275 for the rears.

£557 Fitted

PIRELLI 245/35R19 93 Y PZERO NERO GT (E/B/72) 2.00 133.80 20.0 267.60

PIRELLI 265/30R19 93 Y PZERO NERO GT (F/B/73) 2.00 144.72 20.0 289.44

From experience with the lower profile tyres on 19's, aim to get the rolling radius of the front smaller than the rear otherwise even the smallest difference can look odd side on. Stick to the 2.5% rule but only -2.5%.
