Ha..your right bud,no on its own without my fat arse:)

Isn't the "official" curb weight something like 1584kg.....?

And whilst ICE might make a few kg difference, the amount of fuel in the tank will alter the weight by circa 0-70kg between empty and full.....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Yes guys very close:) 1/4 of tank of fuel so it weighed in at.......

I might be wrong, but doesnt the car have to be dead centre of the weight bridge to get an accurate reading? Your car is parked on the edge, kinda like standing on the edge of the bathroom scales.

(I could be wrong of course!, ive never actually been on or near a weight bridge!!

It's funny because there are times when these cars look small, then when they are on the road (i.e...in convoy) they look huge, then when you weigh them they are huge!! I've parked hundreds of times on my weigh bridge and its within a few kilos ever time depending on how much fuel:)

Lose the aircon as Lee suggests and it'll be down at 1600kgs.

iirc scales weigh in increments of 20kgs so it could weigh 1631 or to be more anal 1630.01 and it's rounded up, so it could possibly read 1600kgs.

Loose this, loose that... Just put more boost in it that'll make up for it ;-) at least that's my take on things.... I like my creature comforts :-)

Nooooo  It was 37 degrees when I left work today........!! Granted, I was not in the Zed; but unless you're putting the car on a track regularly, if your AC works then keep it. I would not consider owning a car without it:wink:

Don't worry mate my air cons staying:)

Don't lose the AC. Makes no noticable difference to performance what so ever. Worth it on a track car if you're doing it on a fully stripped down version, but on a road car, a waste of time removing it all.

I need to weigh mine. I recon it weighs less than that lol. But I was was expecting yours to be heavier with the ice etc. Closer to 1700kgs.

Couldn't have put it better myself

I had a 280z, California import. And for some reason the ac was removed (probably because racecar). But not only that, even the heater and all the associated bits where gone... Not a pleasant ride home in the rain with all the windows fogging up....
