How the hell do I get into this to change?

 

I've jacked the car up and can't get anywhere near it.

Might be easier from above with the acordion pipe out the way? It's tight in there though.

you need the hands of a small child and the arms of mr tickle......... I have a 7 year old son who doubles as a socket and bolt retrieval device....... like a swiss army knife, but without the blade....... lol

No way in hell I could get that vac pipe on with a clip to go.

 

The wife can get her hand in but not sure if she can do it either.

I can feel where it goes barely but can't see how I can put a new pipe on.

Ahhh yea i know the pain...passanger side easy but from what i remember i got mine with a pair of angled long nose plyers from underneath...the other times after re-builds i always put the pipes on before engine re-fit

When the engine was rebuilt there was red vac pipe installed and it doesn't go with my engine bay colour scheme.

 

So I ripped it out then realised not so easy to fit back in.

angled long nose plyers...try work out what you need in rough measuments and ile Tig you an adapted set up out of all the old long nose i have...use a piece of wire/welding rod/type of thing iff you must;)
