Slightly jumping the gun, however I've sent the mail today to start organisation for our club stand at the event. It's on the 2nd of August and the link is here;

http://www.beaulieu.co.uk/beaulieu-events/club-rally/simply-japanese?overrideMobile=true&ignoreUserAgent=true

Same price as always at a very reasonable £10 for access to the motor museum and grounds. The event will encompass a few zclubs and is always a good turnout normally over 30 cars and z32s are not a massive minority. If the demand is there a pre event cruise to the venue will be organised. Bear with me details will start coming through in more concrete form, at which point il be asking for names, is a very casual family event though and tickets are usually available on entry for the commitment phobic.

Here's to another year.

Entrance is slightly earlier than last year at 9am. If you wish to travel the last few miles in convoy like previous years. The rally point is as follows, please be there at 8 with the intention to be leaving around half past to quarter too.

Just got back myself! What an awesome day! Just like last year, the weather was perfect, the turnout was fantastic and a great day had by all! Probably my favourite event on the calendar.

Well done to Joel for doing the car and the club proud! Great to meet old and new faces! :)

Thanks to Stephen for organising!

Glad you all had a great day guys, maybe I can get there next year, Looks like a nice event.

Had a great day out with the family and met some familiar names to put the faces to  weather superb and will hopefully be taking my zed next year

Well done Joel in the peoples choice competition, should have won it easily in our view

How on earth did a fairly stock looking GTO win?!?!?

Sorry I couldn't make it guys, had family to see for my little girls birthday. Deffo on the list for next year!

Thanks chaps, I still can't believe I got voted for out of all them fantastic cars on display today and was genuinely stoked to be in that arena with the 10 or so winners, let alone make the final 3 shortlist [emoji41]

The GTO may not be to everyone's taste but it was a stunning example. Much like the GTO, mine is a fairly stock looking 300 and in my opinion, it is refreshing to see the public and the judges choosing cars that aren't necessarily the stereotypical aesthetically "heavily modified" (no offence to anyone that has that!), as they're generally the guys taking the trophies home. Maybe it is time for us OEM+ (twisted purists!) to take the stage for a while [emoji4]

As the friendly chap with the GTO who won said to me when we had a chat "a tidy car with a nice set of wheels and minor suspension alteration is all these cars need", my sentiments exactly.

Thanks again everyone who came along and Stephen for organising, we had a cracking day making full use of the 4 seats, great to catch up and meet new faces [emoji4]

That's a great pic Joel. The crazy thing is there was a whole other row of zeds you can't see there. In total we had around 50 cars. I say around because I counted them up then more appeared.

Another successful event at Beaulieu and well done to all who attended. Also to Stephen for organizing this event over the three big Z clubs with threads running on all three clubs. Well done mate.

Plus JP congratulations on getting a second place at the show and it will be great to see this Z at JAE.

Yup - exactly what he said.....

....A great day indeed - and congratulations to Joel for coming 2nd in the "People's Choice" awards. Joel's car was way better than the 3000GTO that won; but what the hell.... Nice one Joel:bow:

And great to catch up with everyone there!!

Richard:thumbup:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Good stuff. Be good to see you again mate. Proper organisation of simply Japanese will commence as March hits us, safe to say everyone will be sick of being asked about it by June hahaha.

All I will need is a dark corner of the field to park my zed in!!!

31st July!!!

This will be my Birthday day out then.......... lol

Kids and wife will be dragged out kicking and screaming........ lol

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

My birthday is the 29th!! We should have birthday corner:yes:

Indeed, I know Bob the 350uk area rep is keen to pitch a hand involving the Renaults.

I get back from my euro trip a few days before, so as long as the car makes it back unscathed, I'll be there
