Slightly jumping the gun, however I've sent the mail today to start organisation for our club stand at the event. It's on the 2nd of August and the link is here;

http://www.beaulieu.co.uk/beaulieu-events/club-rally/simply-japanese?overrideMobile=true&ignoreUserAgent=true

Same price as always at a very reasonable £10 for access to the motor museum and grounds. The event will encompass a few zclubs and is always a good turnout normally over 30 cars and z32s are not a massive minority. If the demand is there a pre event cruise to the venue will be organised. Bear with me details will start coming through in more concrete form, at which point il be asking for names, is a very casual family event though and tickets are usually available on entry for the commitment phobic.

Here's to another year.

Entrance is slightly earlier than last year at 9am. If you wish to travel the last few miles in convoy like previous years. The rally point is as follows, please be there at 8 with the intention to be leaving around half past to quarter too.

Sorry can't make it this year, on holiday with wife and kids, for some reason I thought this was later in the month.:no:

For those of you that haven't attended this event I highly recommend it, vary relaxed and family friendly with plenty to do for everyone.

Pity, I was looking forward to seeing your Stillen Type III lip fitted...

She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.

Having attended this last year I can vouch for the venue being very family friendly, as well as being a nice laid back meeting. This year will be much better as I will have the Zed, rather than the DD. let hope the weather is as good as last year as well!

Had a reply this morning;

Hello Stephen,

Thank you for your email.

Yes that will be fine, can you please email me definite numbers 2 weeks before the event so I can make sure an area of the correct size is reserved for you.

Many thanks,

Caroline

So if we could have a show of hands now il know how many to book for.

Cheers Ben. Il start a proper list when I get an hour free.

Already on it Andrew. I've also asked to sort out last years problem of the z33/34s getting seperated.

Still getting our own tickets if getting a club stand?

  • Author

Yup. Sorry I hadn't explained that had I. Tickets are purchased directly by yourself either in advance on beaulieu website or you can pay on the gate. The organiser doesn't require us to purchase a stand slot etc, so it keeps this simpler.

I will provide the payment link further along the line.

Ok thanks

I won't know until a couple of weeks before if my car will be ready, so I'll confirm closer to the time

That's fine nick. In your case the best thing to do would join the list, but purchase your ticket in the day.

As said above, this is a great event; and one that has something to offer everyone.... Last year was a big success; so I hope to be there again this year....

....However, my local pub is holding a summer ball on the Saturday night - and we have tentatively agreed to attend with a few friends. So there is a chance I may not be (ahem) fit to drive on Sunday morning:oops:

I will have to let you know nearer the time - but by all means, put Julia and I down as a "maybe"

Richard:cool:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Hold off on the booze Richard! :)

LOL - if the champagne is flowing, it'll be hard to resist.....!

However the ball is also still a "maybe" at this stage too - depending on how many of our friends will come along (read stump up ££s for the ticket). So it might be that we'll not be going - hence will be whizzing down to Beaulieu instead! In fact, if the ball is off, we might head down Saturday and spend the night at the Montague Arms.....:cool:
