Hi all,

So I'm having works done to the car and while it's been at the garage I've been thinking about changing the colour.

I'm pretty set on going Grey but I can't decide on what grey?

So far I've been tore between:

Mercedes SLR

Lamborghini

Mustang Eleanor Grey

I'm finding myself liking colours because of the car but it's the colour I'm after.

What do you guys think would suit the zed?

I'm seriously thinking of going to a grey myself and was sent this image to wet my appetite, it's looks a gunmetal to me.

My SWB TT is in factory gun metal grey, looks really nice and gets a lot of nice comments on the colour.

I never thought a 'grey' car would look that nice, but it suits the Z well.

Thanks for the info guy's knew there was more than 1 grey!

I've see a db9 in grey today it was really nice similar to the SLR grey.

I've always loved the Aston Martin grey and the Merc one in your post looks amazing too! - that would be my choice

I'd go with the late grey as painted on the 99-spec at the top. It has more depth and is more vibrant than everything else posted.

Same colour as Gio's car and that's definitely grey! This is more of a pearl grey.

Talking of grey i must have the weirdest grey lol...audi suzuka grey pearl...

I thought you're zed was white until now. It's nice I've seen it on a few audi before as well as the other grey on a A4 RS that looked excellent

It looks white in most lights its hard to photo but i quite like it in real life,

Did u like it when u saw suzuka its a bit marmite some do some dont...

This is the stock UK spec colour - Tempest Grey Graphite Pearl (KL1).

I like that.....

....Otherwise the best grey out there IMO is Mercedes Palladium Silver. My previous car was that colour and, when covered in many, many coats of wax, it always looked shiny and never showed up the dirt; no matter how mucky it was. Shame I could not find a new one in the same colour when I was looking......

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Why not try plastidip? Check dipyourcar. Com has some colour option. Alloy silver maybe? There is also rumours about a release of a new glossifier next year.
