Well after a two month wait for my rear wheels I've finally got them all fitted along with my HSD coilovers and adjustable arms. And I must admit I'm in love with it again! It's totally transformed it and it's finally getting to where I want it.

Wheels are Japan Racing JR12s. What do you think? Haterz gonna hate lol

Looking damn fine there Baz.....

...I liked the old wheels, but the new ones really set the car off mate. Get it entered for COTM in August - I'd wager you'll have a good chance of winning matey!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Thanks Richard! I had planned to...

Here's a couple of pics from today's show, out of 120 very nice cars it was in the top 10 for car of the show.

99 spec rear spoiler all the way! I think it will look fantastic in your colour!

I know it's a very personal taste thing but IMO once on looks great! Here's my old zed with one on, I was indecisive about what spoiler to fit but just looks sooooo good IMO!

Cheers Gaz, well happy considering the level of cars that were there. It's just totally transformed it and I'm glad the sun was shining so the purple come out!

From ugly duckling to magnificent swan! Enjoy the buzz Baz!

Thanks Andrew. And that sums it up perfectly, I'm over the moon with how it's come out after months of agonising wait not being able to do anything!

Any news on the spoiler as to whether you want it or not ?

I've been off the forum for quite a while until recently so missed this. Yet again you own one of favourite looking Zeds! Absolutely love it! Did I see a pic on your photo bucket of a lip on the bottom of the front bumper?

Thanks Scott yeah I did mock up a splitter on the bottom of the bumper, it actually came from the mrs' Peugeot 307 when she hit a pheasant and we got a new bumper. It suited it IMO, I need to get another to extend the sides and fill the gaps. Winter project maybe :)

Yeah looked really good, definitely suited it. Another thing, as much as I've never been a fan of the smooth rear end it totally suits your car with those wheels and that stance. Very cool, unique Zed again :cool2:

I'd say bang a 89 spec rear spoiler on there, as it's my favourite. However, being a genuine 99 car that would seem silly, smooth can work generally on swb only though.

Have you rolled those arches then baz?

Funny you should say that as I think the complete opposite, I think the extra length of the the LWB really works being smooth. Saying that, recently I keep finding myself standing in the workshop daydreaming, 'I should remove the BGW for a bit and see if it works for me'. Then I come around and realise I should get it on the road first and promptly head to the kitchen to make a cuppa.....

I lived with it for about a year or so, but I really felt it made the car look significantly longer and lanky, soon as the 89 went on my car instantly shrunk and looked more muscular.

Haven't rolled the arches yet Steve. Although I do need to lol... It's ok as long as I don't pick up any fat chicks or go over bumps at speed!

I've always been on the fence with it being spoiler-less. With the old wheels and ride height I hated it and bought a fibreglass 89 spec spoiler, but I stalled with the fitting as I couldn't decide if it would be sacrilege fitting it to a 99. But on the flip side I don't like the 99 spec Vectra style spoiler particularly, but as soon as the wheels and suspension went on I fell in love with it as a smooth rear end. Think it really suits it now and I'm more than happy with the results.

Don't think I put the latest pictures up as I've been busy with my new project truck but I'll upload them and if anyone is bored they can look at them

And as I was discussing with you at Coventry Steve the colour is totally different when the sun is out!

Love the wheels mate car looks mint. Dropped you a message on fb about bumper pal

Certainly is, very jealous of it mate. I need mine rolled too, can't sort the camber out on the rear or it will eat the rears, she's getting rather low.
