Some of you may know I have an FB page documenting my progress, but since a few don't have/want FB, I'm going to start uploading pics here too as I get time.

As I've said before, not competing this year, time is being focussed on family and home projects, both of which I largely ignored last year! I also enjoy modifying and developing the car as much as driving it, so can tinker away at it through the year, so don't expect fast progress.

Open for discussion, criticism etc :)

I was looking at that rad and thinking, that's way to wide. Then I remembered the pictures you showed me a while back.

Hi, where did you get all your connectors and contacts for your wiring loom? I have some aircraft grade wire (nickel plated copper) (lower resistance so a smaller gauge can be used) but I haven't found a decent supplier of the contacts. On top of that, this build is great - I will keep following. :)

No TOTB for me this year, still too much to do before then.

Marc - I used polevolt.co.uk for the rewire

my SZ order arrived so new fuel rails, injectors, pumps, intercooler and a few other bits. I now have no excuse but to start putting things back on the car. Pics to follow as I work my way through items, need to get the pumps fitted first and tank back on the car.

In the mean time, a quick pic of the intercooler quickly mocked up even though it was going dark!

Strange intercooler arrangement, what's the story there?

Very short piping for response and less pressure drop

Vertical core on the IC, again for less pressure drop.

IC close to engine for shorter piping and reduce weight over the nose of the car

It's customised TDM-works item with matching pipework and with a bit of luck will still clear the DrySump pump

Some more pics of parts being mocked up, and a few parts painted since they're off and I'm too lazy to keep polished parts clean

Also fitted the new lower plenum (needed for top feed inj), now need Jim to pop round to remove crank pulley and refit timing belt!!

Would it not make life easier if the rad was flipped so the take offs were facing downwards, less bends to think about. Unless of corse there is a reason for them to be this way up.
