Is it possible to walk into a nissan main dealer buy a z32 oil filter and then walk out with it, not have to wait 3 weeks or whatever while it's shipped from japan or whatever? I need one fairly quickly.

Yeah, still gotta rely on post which means not till Monday....Nissan is 1/2 mile from my house.

Find the part number online and ring them up first.

Lol I tried ringing 3 times useless *******s. It's a pita place to go, I have to drive right round to get there and there's no were to bloody park. I wouldn't mind if I knew I could definatly get what I want.

Part number is A5208 - H8904

It fits a few older nissan, my parts deptment always keeps a couple on the shelf. So I'd like to say they would

if not get there before 11am they will be able to get one next day, as it's a UK stocked item

I'll try calling again tomorrow, hopefully I can pick one up Friday. Then I can put my car back on the Floor.

Cheers Jeff I'm trying not to mailorder it to speed things up.

Why not get a blue print filter or pattern just to you get a nissan filter...

I bought a k and n filter,

To be honest most zeds I've seen have pattern filters, not really hurt them, id prefer a nissan filter to the pattern but if i didn't want to wait id use a pattern...

I'd only use OEM, WIX or K&N - forget the other rubbish out there...

And yes, the OEM filter also fits many other Nissan cars from the late 1980s onward, so the dealership should have one to go! Next time buy 2 or 3 so that you have one ready for the next service.....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

When mine spat a filter off, I tried 2 nissan dealerships with no luck, ended up getting one from halfords ...

Can anyone confirm wether the sr20 and rb series engines use the same oil filter? They are a bit blinkered old nissan, so unless your armed with the actually I can use this etc they can be a bit slow. Anyway they had some so I brought two that should get me through this summer season, and the oil filter will likely be the least of my worries parts wise.
