Its got two shot turbos, blown engine and a few other issues.

Works out to be too expensive to put back on the road :(

any rust issues or dodgy paintwork if not it could be a great project for someone

No disrespect to Lee over this, but I was rather surprised when you sold that clean-ish red UK TT and bought this. Sure, the red one had an unknown surprise, but I'd seen that car in the flesh and whilst it wasn't perfect, it was relatively straight and clean. This jap one I always thought looked like it had had a bunch of welding on it. I would have held on to that red one - it was a reasonable base.

What is the rust like as I maybe looking to reshell mine

Tell-tale signs of cheap sill repair. Always used to see patched up Fords done in this way. With the engine issues and the suspected welding, I wouldn't have gone for it personally.

My plan was to fix her up at a minimum budget and either keep or sell on.

But turbos and engine was shot and few rust issues below deck which makes breaking her the only option.

As far as the red one goes it was a good solid 50k engine and new paint job but again few issues getting her home I just felt

betrayed by the seller who must have known about the problems I discovered.

Anyways I sorted those faults but due to the bad experience I didn't want reminded of it all so decided to sell at a loss.

Out of the two my own black TT that is on axle stands with its own faults is in better condition.

Good news that I get all the bits from this breaker to fix the black one up and if I make at least 1500 in parts left i'll be happy

and will have enough for the respray I should have pushed on with a year ago.

That's the trap with zeds you see another that looks great thinking it will be great but looks can be deceiving after there 20 years old.
