After having a faulty fuel filler pipe on my red zed I was in urgent need of a replacement.

 

Not being able to find a suitable courier to ship on Friday for a Saturday delivery Ian took

it apon himself to hand deliver the part all the way from his place to where I stay in Troon.

 

Now that's what you call club spirit !

 

the zed is now booked into a garage for tomorrow to get it fitted.

 

I'd just like to give my absolute gratitude to Ian on going out of his way to do this for me.

 

Many thanks Ian and I hope one day I can pass on or return the favour personally to you

or to another member on here.

lol, Lee, it was my pleasure buddy, it's always so nice to see you. Weather on the way back was terrible, but we had a great day (I took my mum for the change of scenery, she is 80 this month but is still quite active considering), so treated her to a meal on the way home. Thanks for your hospitality Lee and Bernadette, and I hope to see you soon either at a show or give me an excuse to drive up a part needed.....lol. Thanks for the polished water pipes too bud, they will look great on my engine build.

Is the generosity of help from people on this forum that is one of the things that keeps me wanting another z one day knowing that Good help is always close at hand.
