Welcome.

Usual old Nissan rust, these suffer from rear arches and sills due to the design of the arch and the targa drains. Side skirts hide problems. That's about it though rust wise.

Mechanically, take it for a good long test drive. Look for smoke from prolonged idle and overrun. You probably know why. And listen for anything odd. The steering should be sharp and light. And if auto the shifts should be sharp and responsive. Long periods between changes etc are bad, tbh you will want a manual though.

hi all

thanks for the speedy reply.i only have a few pics on my phone at moment. will try and upload later. hopefully he will get mot for me this week as it ran out on fri. it was a auto but been converted to manual. took it out yesterday and pulled well. no smoke etc. boosts to 15psi. does that mean its been played with? I will read the link that's been sent to. just looking forward to having a toy again as been a while. it maybe on the fourm already as bought it from Bristol and I believe there are a few 300s round here that meet up. there isn't much paperwork with the car so don't really know whats been done it to. sas it was dynoed at powerstation at about 380bhp with printout. its also got wide arches fitted to front and rear and full black and white retrim interior.

Thanks

Chris

Welcome to the club Chris - and if it is the black car in Z32bolt's first picture, that looks a tidy car. Good luck with your new toy and hope to see more pictures when you have it....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Another local owner! You're in a great spot too, Jimmer who runs PowerZed is in Bristol and I am not too far being in Portishead! Not sure if you've seen my car about, I take it to the Avenue Drivers' Club meets sometimes.

Welcome to the forum buddy. As Richard said tidy looking Zed if it's the first pic on the rollers. Look forward to some of your pics too, good luck Saturday my friend.

Looks good! There were some awesome deep dish wheels for sale on ebay recently that would have finished that off a treat!

Yea it's really wide. Unsure what sort of widths I am going to need. Guessing about 11 or 12j wheels.
