Nice pics ya big tart ;) . Both cars look cool - but that photo really shows how much prettier the Z32 is when put side-by-side with the GTO. Look how much neater and more exotic the front end looks especially. Looks like you need a new bootlid on the Z.

Yes!!! life 'is' too short, I work hard, like most of us on here and we love our toys.

 

I would love a brand new Pagani Huayra up my drive :) ....but these old Jap car make me happy and that all I can afford :)

 

At Christmas a family member said to me "why do you always buy cheap old cars?? "? I laughed and said you drive a Mondeo don't you?.......I know what I'd rather drive for 10k less........2 old jap supercars :yes:

 

I couldn't agree more mate. I was tossing up with the idea of getting a 911 Turbo or a Ferrari 348 a while back, but for the affordability AND the fact that the Z32 (regardless of how little it costs to buy) is still one of my favourite looking cars (within my budgets) that I can run around in and have as a little hobby car.

That's probably the reason I love both cars Si :) the zed for its exotic smooth looks and the GTO reminds me of an American muscle car, Big brash and muscular, some shots from the front are very Corvette and I've always loved Vettes. Yes, well spotted eagle eye.....2 jobs on the silver zed this year are 99 spec skirts and swap my bootlid over and 99 that too. It will encourage me to bring it to JAE 14 :)

Thanks, I love those wheels, I bought them new and paid the extra for wider rears. The laquer on them didnt last long and they soon became scabby looking. I then got them refurbished and they have never looked as good as when I first got them, yes 19"

I prefer the facelift version GTOs, but the headlamps always reminded me of those fake twin headlamp things you used to get from places like Foliatec that people used to stick on their old 316s and Escort Notworths. ;)

Totally agree, the headlights are pants as are the dodgem style indicators :ohmy:!! As you can see I have already modded them to get rid of the red!(now black) but there is a mod called "Robbos" mod and it basically involves splitting the headlamps and removing the coloured cover plate,It then reveals the inner working of the lights and the projector beams! a couple of hours work but a worthwhile mod :)

both cars are awesome. in the states there known as the 300GT, was after the VR-4 but didnt find one. eventually ended up with the zx :D

The GTO is from Japan, the European was the 3000gt and in the states they were badged as a Dodge Stealth ;)

No, in the States they were badged the 3000GT. Dodge sold a rebadged and slightly rebodied version called the Stealth which was its own car as part of the DSM agreement.
