Some vulture beat me to it  I'll never find that again.

I'm thinking about just keeping the interior black with a touch of red, this is for my white zed.

Funny enough i was looking at them and the seat trim kits yesterday, i thought for the cutouts it was a little pricey, but i liked the synthetic leather seat kit.

Telling you buddy, that will never come around again. Have you asked about the engine yet? That will look nice in your white Zed bud.

If its cut & sown on the edges so you don't have to fold the corners then I think it's a good price. I spent £50 on a roll of alcantara & cut it myself for my other zed & think I did a decent job so might just do that again.

I'm still in 2 minds about the engine, I think I'm gonna wait for one where I know the history of it. They don't know anything about the car down there so don't wana waste time & money removing & refitting it if its no good. Plus money is a bit tight at the moment with saving for the baby arriving.

I've just asked them so will let you know what they say.

I spoke to them about a kit... $550 delivered for a full 2+2 kit. (front and rear seats and all panels) which i thought was pretty good.

Bit off topic but where did you get the roll of Alcantara from mate?

Off eBay. Been on the car nearly a year now & its lasted very well, hasn't faded or lifted at all

They just messaged me back, they're not stitched, looks like I'll be cutting it myself then.

Yeh go for it. Someone needs to get it.

I bought some black suede once from a local haberdashery and once dried looked brown, it was easy to fit and lasted ok, but worth paying the extra for material designed for use in cars lol

Si is always busy and has stressed that as its not his full time job and with the time it takes to do a full retrim, it would be difficult for him to serve all our needs, but maybe getting a good price on the material for him to supply would be a big help.:thumbup1:

This is where booking people in helps me enormously :)

Rather than everyman and his dog just sending you stuff and expecting it yesterday :lol:

Just to add onto this: anyone who's attempted retrimming their seats (not their panels) will be able to appreciate how ridiculously time-consuming it is! Panels aren't so bad, although the Zed's are a nightmare shape... it's the seats that take the time.

I am a busy man but I'm taking bookings all the time. It all depends what people are after having done and how quickly, really.
