Personally, I think it looks like a urinal, but here it is. Don't mind the corner vents, but the main scoops remind me of all those horrid little Max Power styled Corsas that were all the rage about 10 years ago. I don't believe this is their finished article, merely a prototype. TwinZ have designed and built some fantastic add-ons for the Z32; however, this is not one of them IMO.

as you know my cars orange and i would like to paint the bonnet orange to but i need somthing to break the colour up and i thought that the black vents in this bonnet would give that affect.goggle garage 16 11 13.jpg

Why do you need something to break up the bonnet? They look good uncluttered IMO. Smooth nose panel and painted bonnet as it is would make it look better I think. :)

The Z32 does not need need vents/scoops/whatever; this isn't a subjective thing, by putting vents and holes everywhere, you'd be introducing issues when encountering water. Also, the engine bay area is sealed creating a low pressure zone under it drawing heat out through the bottom, but putting holes in the bonnet, that flow is disrupted and the evacuation of heat won't take place as it should.

Sorry about the crudeness.....I did this on MS Paint. :) Looks a LOT neater.

agree

Actually Si, though I disagree with a lot of your opinions in this case seeing the photoshopped version I do agree too :thumbup1:

Probably because the strong curves of the front bumper already make enough of a statement IMHO

Si can i ask you to put back my centre light panel? then lets see the result. Cheers

Doesn't look as nice. Smooth nose panel looks loads nicer! :)

Smoothed. That style of nose panel is probably the least flattering (IMO). If you really wanted a vented nose panel, then something like this....but personally, I'd avoid them completely.

mmmm well I actually rather like your car in orange (I think the Zed can handle strong 'head turning' paint jobs very well ) and I like it both with and without the vented headlight panel... After vacillating in the corner for a while I probably prefer it slightly more with than without

But my advice is....... well these panels are really inexpensive, so I would get one of each and spray them both to match your car and then change them as the mood suits

Actually strangely enough, I am about to do the same myself

BTW I really do like the front bumper... which type is it?

the front bumper was a veilside mk two i think but i changed it, heres how.

this is how it stated the car sat to low and i would have been restricted to were i could go cas norwich is so full of speed bumps.

as the kit was 2.jpg

and i didnt like the side bits on the kit but did like the rest so i decided to have a chop up?

as it was to low 3.jpg

then chop out twi inches from front bottom 4.jpg

then with two inches choped out the bottom.

to show what i choped out then resin the bottom back on minus the two inches 5.jpg

then onto the next thread
