purchased some kind of wild animal dont let the bats get me

hello there am ryan just signed up. makes a more eye catching thread header than hi am a noob ;)

i hope someone can help me i have finally after 8 years of harping on about it bought my z32 tt manual import from a chap in kent and drove it a chuffing 10 hour drive back to the drizzle in Aberdeen here. the first issue is when i purchased the animal he wasn't very clued up about the modifications on it. he purchased it 8 months earlier from someone near Liverpool and looks like a impulse buy anyhow from the receipts it looks like it has had a racing bottom end rebuild, dump valves, coilovers, fuel pressure reg, apexi dual intake, funcy exhaust and a chip in the ecu. it is a yellow sticky on the chip that reads z32m.440 anybody heard of this before? for the life of me i cant find any information about this chip. i also turned off my profec boost controller as i didn't think it was set up properly. i am also considering flying a guy up from nistune for the day to do the rolling road map for me is it worth doing if it already has this chip in it. would anyone have any idea what sort or hp this car would be putting out? i really need it on a rolling road but theres a few little things need done first i.e. bumper repainted, good service, seems to smoke rarely if i let the foot of the gas but this is not constraint and its only twice a week driving it daily and for a minute or two. any input would be most helpful

Welcome mate. Put some pictures up, someone might recognise the car & know its history.

Welcome to the forum, as Tom says put some pics up. I am near Liverpool or actually in part of it, might recognise the Zed. Congratulations on your new purchase.

Hey man, welcome to the club. I'm based at Lossiemouth and will pop over if you like. I can give it an arse dyno compared to mine and we can talk zeds. Unfortunately the best zed places are a long way south.

plan to sign up this week tom. there is actually some brochure for this site that came with the car if i could find the previous owner it would help to find out the modifications done to it, it seems extensive. if you wish to come to banchory when your free il buy you a pint or two i have about 300 questions needing answered. have a few spare parts you can take away that i don't need for it things like dash cluster surround/ ac pod.

In that welcome pack is likely a forum name, ie there user name you can search that on here and get some info.

Nice car! This is how they look their best, with their original beautiful body and lines. Nice to see a visually unmolested one; they're becoming few and far between!
