I agree mate, Firefox is getting slower and more clunky. I still think it's the best browser going though. I gave chrome a quick go but couldn't get on with it.

What's FF doing that's bugging you?

I started with MyIE, which became Maxthon, but it became too slow and buggy. Then I went to Firefox for a while, until it seemed to slow down as well. I've been using Chrome ever since and so far it's been the best one :)

i use chrome and its good you can have loads of tabs open and just keep hoping between them all. it is fairly quick, did take me a wee time to get used to it etc, got my oap mother using it now.

I've been with FF since it's inception (hate IE).

And I've noticed over the past 4 or 5 upgrades it's got slower as they have added more and more functionality.

I use Chrome on my Galaxy S4 and on my Samsung Tab. But I just can't get used to it on a standard laptop or desktop. I'll stick with FF for better or worse.

Having not tried any other browsers why dont peeps like IE..this is what ive always used and i dont know any diferent

Main reason I don't use IE, is that with it being the worlds most popular browser it is the one that majority of hackers concentrate on when attempting to make viruses or hacks etc.

Really? Not had that problem TBH - would a decent anti-virus program not help alleviate that, whatever browser one is using?

It's like a giant game of tag.

The hackers come up with ever more elaborate ways to get access, and the software engineers for IE (and anti-virus) have to try and keep up and patch the holes.

Although as FF has became more and more popular, it now suffers from the same attacks.

True fact is that no system is truly safe no matter what browser or anti-virus software you are running.

They're all shit. My laptops last, on average about 2-3 years before all the porno viruses destroy the programs and eventually the HDD. I have tried all of them and they ALL have shitness.

Had them! Quite happy doing the rounds again at the moment. :)

As long as you have an endless supply of cash for a new laptop every couple of years, Si, then there's no problem I guess......

......Just make sure you also exercise your left arm or else you'll start to look a bit unbalanced mate....
