  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Managed to get some time to do a few more bits this afternoon, full coolant flush, oil change and a wash in the dark! First wash in months!

Yesterday I also managed to complete the wiring for my passenger seat so both are now electric... Didn't get any pics of that although I am very happy with the result. Got a new soldering iron which was brilliant compared to my last one... I was soldering like a pro!

Used some of the cleaning products I bought at the nec show.

Then put her to bed for the winter

Hibernate in a garage under a cover is the best place for any Z in Winter Ian. ?

I agree, this will definitely be the last winter mine is sat outside! House on the market and a garage is definitely on the list for the new house!

I got another update from Jimmer....

…...New HICAS joints needed for MOT; plus NSF ball joint unsafe. Whilst it's a couple of extra items that needed doing, I am pleased the Zed was with Jimmer, so he could fix them quickly and easily....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Does Jim do the MOT or prep them for an MOT? After my wife’s MOT on the Skoda I’d be much happier knowing Jim has signed the 300 off for the year. ?

Unless something has changed in the last few months, Jimmer doesn't do the MOT himself - he uses a garage approximately 2 minutes away from him.

I live in the area so my first choice would be to take the car to him, failing that I'm happy to go somewhere he recommends.

Nice one Dave and its a pity Mondo is breaking his Z but its his car..

Completely agree with you Gary. Was gutted to hear it was being broke

Drove her 200 miles back from Jimmer’s last night, gave her a good wash this afternoon and parked her up in the garage ?

Bought her back in July and this is the first time it’s been home!

It’s been a bit of an ordeal getting this far but now like a pig in sh*t. Runs perfectly now thanks to Jim’s hard work ?

That's great news!  I don't think your car is in my UK specs database. If you PM the VIN I will add it.

Great, will do ?

Passed its MOT again this year. Just an advisory that my o/s shock absorber is starting to weep a little... Maybe time for an upgrade feom stock next year.

Then, after using it a couple of days this week plus today... It was time for a long soak before wrapping it up again :

Its likely weeping as its not getting used enough.
