  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Nothing as precise for me but I did find time to remove my off side headlight, air box intake pipe and front bumper bracket. I’m really happy to find solid metal with every item I’ve removed.

the new fasteners are silver plated mild steel as SS would have caused a galvanic reaction

Looks like you could use SS fixings with something like Tef-Gel which would mean that the risk of the fixings rusting is removed.

She's so fine, there's no tellin' where the money went - Simply irresistible.

Today, I gave my Zed a good clean, a coating of Auto Finesse Carnauba Crème and then a final wipe over with Auto Finesse Glisten, before popping it back in the garage.... It was certainly needed after covering nearly 900 miles last week, on hols in Pembrokeshire. Car was filthy when we got back - our hotel was in the middle of nowhere, two miles along nothing more than a farm track

Just a couple of phone pics for now - I will post a few more, once I have downloaded from my proper camera:wink:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Another tin of polish bits the dust.

That's wax, not polish. ;)

Its a Norn Iron thing

Y'all don't put diesel in your 300zxs too do you?

We should defo do the horseshoe pass again next summer Tom

Definitely mate, we can arrange a driving day through north wales.

The size difference in the new cars is crazy

About 6” in the actual length of the car, which is less than it looks. Much bulkier though, they weigh the best part of 1.8 tonnes! Whilst they are more powerful, it’s actually only 50hp per tonne more powerful, stock v stock. Which just shows the impressive engineering that allows that tank to accelerate nearly twice as fast to 60.

Ha ha looks like it doesn't it gaz, no old cheap 99 spec carpet removed , replaced with an earlier better quality cut pile item

I went to the Kop Hill Climb Festival in my Zed today. Great car show - and only 10 minutes up the road - I can't believe I have never been there before:oops:

I reckon I'll participate next year, not to post a fast time, but just for the fun of joining in. No Zed pics today though, but I was in some seriously impressive company on the way in - I mean whenever am I going to see another Senna, actually on the road, again.....

So what does that make my 400hp Z at now then with the hp per tonne vs 09 GTR :whistling: And I bet a lot of people thought I was talking out of my hoop when I mentioned about it a while back, I stayed up with the GTR convoy on are way to Japfeast
