Going to start this thread for members to post up what they did each day to there zed. I will start with getting my MOT this morning. So what did you do today on your 300?:cool3:

I have been blessed with good health so far in my retirement years so I intend to live life to the max while I can.

 

Here is a little vid a fellow track lad posted. You can see what a fun little track it is. The vid is not very interesting but watch it up to the 4 min mark when you will see me get past him and another car.

I find it very addictive. It is hard to explain that feeling of driving right on the edge of your own and the car's limits.

For me its the best "legal high" I can buy.

It is only possible on tracks nowadays. I built the car to have some motorsport fun so thats what I do.

Im not precious or protective about the car and Im not concerned about my own safety in such a strong well built car with good track safety gear fitted.

Well jobs, Jobbed today:-

1) replaced all 6 spark plugs

2) replaced both front drop links

3) replaced fuel damper

4) ordered turbo rebuild kit

5) found uprated actuators for rebuild of my spare set of turbos

6) was descended on by Kgonzokia for a cuppa tea.... lol

7) found oil and transmission leaks

8) tried to remove o2 sensor, but too stuck.... will try another day after WD40 soaking....

9) Checked all fuel line clamps and found loads loose...

It was quite a productive day......

Lots n lots of people having fun in their own cars in a safe and friendly environment.

Just took a while to get it erected correctly! :lol:

Well I had a road trip yesterday to visit Dan Brittain so he could help me fit the 2nd hand manual AC ECU that dutchgold found for me. Have to say i had my reservations as the part came all the way from Malaysia so wasn't sure if it would be functional. Zebs heater temp control has never worked during my ownership so fixing it so I can get my cabin temps under control and the ac working has been an on going project (3 years now) and god knows how long during Mandy ownership. Well ECU installed and success it now works perfectly. To say im a happy bunny is a bloody understatement . So massive thanks to Jay for passing the find to me as he owns a version r with the same ecu so could have kept it to himself as a spare as they are NLA but being the the gent he is he chose to help a fellow zedder out, without his help i would still be looking so thanks Jay i owe you a few pints buddy.

Just landed in Dallas and finally managed to rescue my brand new OEM 3rd brake light. These went NLA a few years ago but found a chap selling a brand new boxed one he had laying around last year and pounced on it.

 

Absolutely nothing wrong with the one I have, I just wanted a brand new one for brand new one's sake! My one is going to redwine300 for his UK car as a freebie. :)

 

 

 

Also picked up some injector adaptors in readiness for my 740s which I intend to fit later in the year.

Not so much as what I did today. More like what can’t I do.

Garage is so full up now.

A whole car plus two sets of oem wheels, two tailgates three bumpers a bonnet. Two doors and good know what else preventing me from getting in.

It’s ruining my life and I haven’t lived yet. Maybe I need to take a step back from the car and do it bit by bit. Especially now I’ve got a new daily.

Well there’s two times this happens quite often. Ones cleaner than the other :lol: So when you have a hangover, you think, oh god why did I, say, do, that etc. That’s your moment of clarity, when you see through the moment. The other and much more effective, oh how to say this. When you’ve been spending time with miss Palmer and her five daughters, you do you thing and suddenly think wtf am I watching! That is a moment of clarity.
