  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Fitted my leather bits supplied by Mondo, today. The steering wheel feels so different now its padded too. and the interior looks so much cleaner now the faded leather parts have been replaced to compliment the blue/grey. Excellent quality work from Si, (just to give him another plug for those who havent seen it on FB)

It just seems to be consistently good work he turns out....... That stitching really looks good with the rest of the interior....... Superb job......!!

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

They look much better fitted than they did just sat on my workbench! :thumbup1:

I had to do three steering wheels that week, as well as a load of other bits and bobs too... my hands were like claws at the end of it all...! :surrender:

Currently queuing to put the car through its first NCT. Hopefully it's a positive sign that the testers have been shouting about it since I got here!

Best of luck Jay, they probably can't find any info on their computers about it, hence the shouting:laugh::biggrin:

Good luck Jay :clover:

Passed with no advisories, even though I was told off for filming them putting it on the rollers! Tester said he didn't like my Recaros, pfft!

I'm glad that's not the type of plate we have, it's like a damn telephone number it's so long lol.

I have the square-style ones on the back, just thought the longer format would look better on the front.

Kill myself Gary! lol

Tyres mounted on the BBS LM. Before I fit, I need to swap out the wheel studs on the back as I was running spacers. 10" @ ET 40, I won't need them! :)

Finally fitted my brand new headlights! Took me long enough to get round to fitting them. So clean and crisp, the reflectors are sharp.

I also removed my H3 6000k and replaced with the correct H3C and at 4300k. You can see here the difference in bulbs. The orb is much closer to the base of the unit. When I fitted them, it gave much more focus and clarity and noticeably less scatter. I tried to capture it on camera, but I just couldn't. You can really see a defined arc with these blubs in and 4300k is just right. :)

H3C being the shorter of the two.

Where did you order them from Si, as i was told RHD spec were no longer available thats why i refurbed mine.

I was thinking of buying left hand versions and changing the mask over but didnt really want to break the new seals.
