  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Fitted new backboxes yesterday.....Washed n waxed the zed this morning and then out bimbling round the Cheshire countryside taking in the fresh-air; roof off and ICE cranked-up as a Health & Safety Risk Assessment towards any hikers & ramblers that might have been lurking around bends...

Checked the front brakes this morning, as there was a lot of brake dust on the wheels. Plenty of meat left on the pads so I cleaned the slots out on the pads and re-drilled the cross drilling on the discs and counter sunk them to stop them chewing up the pads. Will test them tomorrow.

Superb feeling, eh Gary....?

......Today I drove mine in the sunshine - targas off - on the early morning Sainsburys trip. Then I got distracted at a certain Beaconsfield car dealership whilst my watch was in the jewellers for a battery replacement/pressure test; and ended up taking a test drive in a potential new daily driver. Then I got back in the ZX, took the targas off once more and drove home. And parked it back in the garage ready for a day out in the sunshine tomorrow!!

A 2012 Merc SLK350 AMG Sport.....:whistling:

Very tempting I must say - and I could still get a good deal on it - it had all the options I want except bi-xenons; plus a few more... It is an improvement on my current SLK for sure; although not drastically so. And do you know what? Getting straight back into my ZX, targas off on a beautiful day, showed just what a great car the Z32 is; compared to one of Germay's finest, despite it being 19 years old.

Maybe I'll leave it for a bit.....
