  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Getting the Z ready for mot this week and new Brembo front pads fitted. Pads from GSF cost £23 but with on line discount £18.74 so that was a great price.

Bargain!!

Thanks for that info Gary - at that price, it's worth buying a couple of sets; just to fit when needed...

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Decided to take the slicktop to work as it has aircon and my defender doesnt

Switched it on and set it to max cooling

Removed all the bird poo

Removed the sahara sandstorm

Put air in the tyre that doesnt like air

Sat in it

At this point all the refrigerant promptly and noisily exited the engine bay

Locked it

Kicked it

Changed pants

Took the defender to work

Sorry to hear mate but I must say I loved the way you wrote it.:)

New set of wheels arrived today from JDM Distro. Many thanks to Richie K for all his help with these. The condition/quality of the wheels is really good and exactly as I was expecting them to be.

I will be keeping the 9J x18 et+22 for the fronts, and have them refurbished. The 8x18 (et +22) will be going away to have new barrels and lips, to make them wider :thumbup1:

The colour scheme is still up in the air though, until I see them with the new paint job on the car.

MOT day today. :)

All passed for another year with zero advisories. I actually like taking it to get the MOT as all the mechanics seem to love it and can't believe the condition it's in, a few of them took photos and I overheard some very flattering comments. Guy that tested it says it's one of the cleanest undersides he's ever MOTd. Not bad for a car approaching 30 I suppose. :)

I forgot to post but Dad's red zed also sailed through MOT with no advisories.

FunkySi congrats but we all saw that coming [emoji38]
