  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Little bit late in the offing; last week was a good week. Met up with Gary and his good wife for a meal and a good time was had, thanks mate and then the weekend, PolioJ came to polish my Z. We also fitted the front coilovers which has made a huge difference to the ride quality (rears were fitted ages ago) over the rather crashy Tein springs. It's also a little lower at the front too and I'm finally happy with the tide height and quality. Just some minor camber adjustments to do now. I'm ditching the Z1 FUCAs in favour of a shim kit and stock upper arms. I want smoothness and there's no need for all this adjustability on a road car if I can use fixed links to give me what I need. My biggest regret was fitting Midori style links all those years ago. Having returned to either stock or NISMO bushes, I've become more and more happy with the way the car feels in general road conditions.

Also discovered the noise to my AC system and it turns out my idler pulley is as dry as Gandhi's flip flop. The main pump bearing seems super smooth so hopefully I won't need to replace it!

Z looks stunning Simon JP did a great job. It was great to see you again mate and how fast did you eat that pizza!

Yeah I was appalled at the speed I ate that, although your boy was just as quick and he had more topping!

At 18 years old and 6f 2" (and still growing) Lee could eat us all under the table lol. He is a number 8 back row for his rugby club so needs to be well packed out. We were messing about last night with the rugby ball and he tackled me and knocked me flying, still recovering from it this morning lol.

Yeah, I wouldn't wanna get on the wrong side of him, he could probably flatten half of Belfast!

i believe it is to last untill monday at least gary.

Excellent - hopefully it will be nice weather for the Lakes this weekend..... Even if I'm not in the Zed, I will be catching the sunshine with the roof down....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Taking part in a little classic car rally soon organised by a school I used to attend....I had the plate through today. How apt is that number!

I'll certainly be the only Z car there although a 240z occasionally runs it but it's mostly old classic Bentleys, Rolls Royce cars with a spattering of Lamborghinis and Ferraris.

If my old school sent me an invitation to anything, after I’d finished laughing, it would be going straight in the bin.

New bearing now pressed in. Let's hope this solves the AC noise!
