  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Looks in great condition Chris and whats that in the arm rest?

A remote it looks like, god knows for what! Maybe the headunit that's been removed?

Does look clean! Very nice! I hope the first thing you do is replace those appalling wheels though!

Snap!! I hadn't even seen your post Si, when i saw the pics of the wheels sitting inside the arches, I'd said I'd post almost verbatim what you said:thumbup:

Still done absolutely nothing to it but found out today the part I've been waiting 8 weeks for is no longer available

However a 5 minute call to Lee Dent and he's sorted me out will have it Monday so car should be back soon

Big thanks to the guys that recommended Lee and top bloke for sorting so quick:thumbup:

Darren

Whipped round a few local roads today put some warmth in the car. Haven't driven it for a fortnight so I was half expecting the battery to be flat but it fired straight up, good as gold.

Testing and adjusting rear cover be for painting... fitted exhaust but not happy with it... polished some heat shielding and waiting for some parts to turn up..

great job nice

Well after a morning of heavy squats followed by about five wheels changes, my back is ****ing killing me! But I couldn't leave it with a space saver...now if only it was on the right side...

I see Funkysi is out of hibernation... Red wiper arms... Wtf?? Lolololol..

What happened to you at the maldon show Si? I drove all that way and was really looking forward to meeting you at long last and you didn't go??? Wtf???

That's looking really nice hellraiser..

Just shows how clean a bay can look without all the over engineered crud in there..

Although in my head, someone's screaming "let me dip those timing and throttle covers" lol

One day I'll get shot of the hicas etc.. But it'll stay there til it dies..

Although from what doctor dent is saying about my bhp when I get it back, I'm thinking hicas might get me in to more trouble than its worth!

Easy on the throttle from here on in! Lol

Couple of bits that will need looking at but I'm still very pleased with it  got worried for a second when I couldn't see the power steering thing under the bonnet, but then I remembered it's got the electric hicas so I suppose it's that!

Congrats man!!! Enjoy it.....!

He is probably waiting for you to dip them in that gold carbon stuff so he can really let loose.

Post been and the yellow jacket Ptu turned up just missing the coil packs image.jpg

Is that behind the muffler bearing?

Its the variable intake crank pulley but I still couldn't tell you anything about it, sorry severe noob to the car

 it's alright I'm being a douche. There is no rear variable crank pulley. Just front crank pulley, I suppose you could say two crank pulleys. The top ones are cam pulleys attached to the cam shafts.

Bought a clay bar kit and had a go. I think it came out well, although the wax I used let it down a bit. Only got to do half of the car due to the weather...
