  • Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Damn - the very same folks charged me £68 for the very same thing a couple of weeks ago.......:surrender:

From everything I've heard, they're the sort of supplier you really have to keep an eye on prices with from week to week!

It was my birthday yesterday and the Mrs bought me an EBC (her idea... honest). Anyway, with a trip to see Noel this week i thought I'd at least mount the head unit where I want it, I'll bribe Noel into doing the rest ;)

So it's goodbye clock, hello Greddy

EDIT: You already did xD

Not so much today as a very cold and blustery day yesterday at the home of Phutumsch, many , many Thanks Andy and what a great result!

Andy sorted out my Altia EL Panel and got it back to its original colour scheme and working a treat, also sorted out my fogs and reverse lights...

they now match my Altia sills/kick plates ;-)

and, there's more....

Andy also changed out all the bulbs in both pods and the dash and its all glowing a lovely deep red now, the needles look great....

Andy used a mixture of bulbs and LED versions, I will leave the various colours and bulb descriptions to the master, for I am not worthy of such advanced knowledge ;-)

Suffice to say I am chuffed to bits with the results...

Prior to fitting the EL Panel...

Funky, I guess the light blue to match the sills?

I have to say light blue and purple sounds like a weird colour scheme but we will see :)

I mean weird colour combinations having purple paint, and teal blue lights. not that the light itself if a weird colour.

I gave my white TT an extra Zap in it's veins by gettin a new exide battery £55.00 from euro carparts.

Hi Trev, what size / model battery did you get??

Thanks..

Richie

I have to say .....its the original factory green colour and I have to say metallic midnight purple just happened to be the original colour of my car. I have to say that's really weird eh, fancy that! Like far out man, far out....thought I'd throw in the red dash bulbs as well, just to really crank the weird colour scheme scale up to 11 dude....

No no don't take it the wrong way, i was just saying the colours clash in my opinion, and its not a combination i've really seen very much, compared to say a green/black, white/red...

I've the OEM Green "300zx" on my blue car, it's the colour Nissan decided to go with regardless of the cars colour.

Yes, I would request that everyone stops getting hurt by my comment. Funky doesn't mean disgusting, and it is my opinion. I think it is a fair opinion that purple and teal clash slightly.

If you don't think so, then be it. I'm not insulting or discrediting Andy in any regard, the panel looks great and the colour is what Nissan decided on, just with purple paint its not for me.
