  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

  • These parts turned up from Specialty-Z today. Last significant items for the "bolt on" build. I'll post some more pictures of all the stuff I have collected over the years (literally!) in the "Project

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

I got an MOT................ and she passed with a few advisories and a bit of work to do after I found a few bits had been.........errmmm........ overlooked / forgotten in my haste to MOT her on my sons birthday.....lol

I forgot to fit the radiator overflow bottle and left the hose dangling down......

I fitted the new front bumper, moved the ignition control module when doing it and well.........left it hanging under the nose panel in haste...... forgot to re bolt it up......... doh....

I also got my knuckles wrapped for the braided brake hoses as the kit I fitted years ago didn't come with any fixings, so grommets and cable tied them...... was told to rethink this and get better ones.....

Main things are o/s headlight not working on main beam and the N/S/R wheel bearing has a little bit of play........ worse by the time I got home....... a lot worse........

So a few bits to sort out in next few days.........

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

I changed my clutch slave cylinder and bled through a full system of new fluid.

A few days ago it went and I couldn't dip it. All sorted now :)

Drove it to work for the first time this year and to my new job location. Bit worried about my new city center parking space its private allocated parking on the college grounds but two cars have been stolen from here so far this year. Locked and alarmed I will be keeping an eye on it.

takes less than 1 min to take the fuel pump fuse out Gary, then its going nowhere no matter what they do;)

I haven't done anything to my z but I have driven her to Spain this week for holiday, not to bad on fuel 180ish litres 1100ish miles

Sourced myself a BRAND NEW set of original OEM headlights! Been after these for years now (they went NLS nearly a decade ago). Mine are in good condition, but these are MINT! Still in boxes. :)

Finally persuaded the owner to sell them! lol Took a long time!

99 head lights ?

Nope, you can still buy those. These are the early ones (which I think look better anyway). :)

Just picked up these from the powder coaters! Very happy with the finish. Just need to press in my Nismo bushes and fit (with brand new OEM nuts and bolts). :)image.jpg

did you use RPA?

Sure did. Really impressed with the quality and Warren's a super nice guy.

yeah, he's done all of mine, been very helpful. I was there today too picking up my wishbones!

i was there around 12, then Jimmers for a bit to help with turbo fitment and measuring new oil lines

Took her out the garage for the commute to work, great to get the roof off!

When did you go 2tone?

Had the roof spoiler and Twinz spoiler sprayed black as well as the Ganador mirrors, as there was no way I could get them matched to the red. Then "wrapped" the rest for the time being. might do the bonnet to match, not sure if it will be to much though.

Is that a twinz roof spoiler?

Yes it is. Not sure tbh if it's too much along with the boot lid one. Anyway going to live with it for a while yet until I get her resprayed.
