  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Think I've got the size wrong though:confused1:

Yes officer :nono:

:slap:

Mate, take it from a man with a stick on numberplate, you will have to be a charismatic stallion to talk your way out of a fine for that microplate  :clover:

Get a vinyl one, perhaps just a black rectangle and individual letters over your white pearl, or get one like mine, but I think you may be in bother with that one.

:helpsmilie::hammer::hammer::taz:Spent some time destroying my car today. Would show some pics if I could work out how to post them

Finally got round to finishing the wheel stud job on the white zed today.

So she's now back on all 4 wheels and safe to drive.

To make the job easier I made a stud pulling tool at work out of Stainless Hexagonal Bar and it works a treat without having to use a stack of washer as is the normal technique.

It works a treat and engages the full length of the thread on the stud so no chance of stripping the thread.

I did a Cad drawing for the tool so if you want a copy to make one yourself pm me and ill send you a pdf version.

Now to attack her with the snow foam coz she looks more like a barn find at the moment.

It Lives, fully charged and ready to go just needs a wash.

Nice to have 2 operational zed's to choose from but back to the white zed as my Daily for now.

Looked into buying some meister r s to get a nicer stance and less roll trying to find a nice steering wheel and boss kit so I can still use cc :)

Fitted this, after some modification of a boss kit to make it fit correctly!

Thanks to GIBSTER-TT for having numerous zed parts kicking around!

Nice wheel Chris, out of interest what's it name?

Fitted my Twinz roof spoiler, Ganador mirrors,,sorted out my small windscreen washer bag, and managed to tuck it between the IC and the inside of the bumper. Also fitted my expansion bottle on the IC bracket on the other side Next on the list will be the the new Twinz boot lid spoiler, which has been freshly painted, mounted the brake light in it but have the task of removing the wavy old one first.

So pics of that then.

Which spoiler did you get Biggy? Type 1,2 or 3?

Twinchip is sold out of spoilers and is not getting anymore in:mad2:

Any pics?

About time with that spoiler dude [emoji106] good job, look forward to seeing it.

Pulled all my spare clocks and dials out and put what I think is a pretty cool set together, just waiting on the chrome cLock rings to finish it off:wink:

Oh, I want to know where to attach the positive and negative wires on a series 2 set of clocks?

Been looking for one of these for a while, is it new? Where did you get it?

Collected it from the body shop after having a few blemishes fixed..... And I have to say, the fella did an amazing job. He matched the colour perfectly:bow:

All I had to do was give the interior a hoover and polish to get rid of the dust etc. But my Zed is now safely back in the garage and ready for action:cool:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Got the bumper with it's base and clear coat on now.....:big grin:

Tomorrows jobs are to sort out front wings where I had to cut off the veilside bumper..... Then paint new side skirts.....

If I get time I am removing boot spoiler and veilside side skirts.........

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!
