  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Like the wash to get the dust off!

I decided to re trim my Targa interior panels!image.jpg

That is the near side, this is the off side.

Today - nothing - but yesterday, I taxed the Zed for another year early in the morning; and then took it for a little spin to the RHS Gardens at Wisley...... It was Julia's 40th birthday and that's where she wanted to go for the day.

We left there with the petrol light flicking on - and me, being me, ignored it. Came off the M40 at Beaconsfield and did I turn into the services? Did I f**k - not when there's a BP a few miles the other side of Beaconsfield where fuel is cheaper. Scraped up to the pump - just, as it would seem, since I squeezed exactly 70 litres into the tank!!!

Then (long story), as we're soon to replace Julia's car and I think we should go auto - to give her more experience at driving an auto, let her drive home. She did good actually - even going as far as booting it a couple of times to see off (ahem) lesser cars:rofl:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Started making a shopping list of new bits I want this year! Nothing visual, all mechanical! :)

Was thinking of getting 2 of these!

As u all know they are £50 each!

This cost me £6 for the pair + 2 hours work

What adhesive have you used?

What did I do to my Zed today?

I gave her a good wash. Then, inspired by having a bit of a blast in Tom's yesterday, I took the roof off, gave her a nice drink of super unleaded and went for a bit of a blast in the sunshine! :thumbup1:

Very rapid, grippy and waaaaay too much fun! God, I love my Shortie!! :D

I didn'tt do much. I changed my fuse for my interior light as it had blown

I have all the rare bits you can't find :tongue:

I changed the gearbox oil for some redline mt-90, it was supposed to be a simple job with my new hand pump... Turned out the pump enjoyed sucking more air in from behind the piston than oil, and it would only pump about 100ml at a time. Glad that's not a frequent job!

Pump is now in the bin.

Got to recommend Redline oil though, the shift is much smoother now.

Oh, and booked on to the Brands hatch track day on the 15th. First of the year!

Picked up my zed from noel and a set of seats from Slick Pete and got it home on Friday.

Removed my 95+ steering wheel and fitted an aftermarket one that's been in my cupboard since August. Measured up for making a set of subframes for the seats!

Production to start later this week

We were actually going to have a ride to yours this afternoon, mate. We got the 350Z Roadster parked on the drive, walked the dogs and then washed the cars as the weather was so nice, hence the thoughts of getting the targas off and heading out for a visit. :)

The temperature dropped by the time we finished though, so we just turned the heating up and hit the couch instead!

Soon though, matey....

You really should have. Callum (newish member) came over and we went out in the zed to get a couple of sound clips of the Veilside exaust and the screamer pipes. Was fun now the zed doesn't have a massive air leak
