  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

It's going for a service next week. Then the boot, bumper and bonnet are getting painted, and finally off to RB Motorsports when it gets back for a Remap. Canny wait.

Yup definitely missing on mine, let me know the postage and we can sort it out :)

That looks super-impressive, Si...!! Definitely something to be very proud of, mate!!

Agreed.... And much better with the 'tache matey...

As for me, today, nothing. But yesterday I gave it a wash with some nice smelling Zymol car shampoo - followed by a coating of Chemical Guys Jet Seal... Did the same on the SLK too - hell they are both looking damn fine afterwards!!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Socketed my NA ecu after careful thought on tt fpcu and a lot of reading forums....

Read that I can use my NA ecu with a new IC fitted, with tt mapping and using the NA fpcu...

Even if I don't use it I now have a socketed NA ecu to sell.... Lolimage.jpg

Sprayed the n/s wing the same colour as the rest of the car, no pictures yet I need to give it a T-Cut. I have to say that I have three different shades to pick from on the car, lol

Went to have tyres fitted to my new wheels for the Z and spent the rest of the day sorting out the complete C*ck up that they did......

Firstly went to a company I have used for years and found the usual guy I dealt with has moved on......

The new guy then forced the tyre over the front lip of a rear fitting wheel and tore the bead..... then said the tyre was already split....

When his boss turned up as he was doing the 2nd wheel and tyre, he told him he was doing it wrong and suggested he do it from the back....

The idiot then flipped over the wheel and banged it down on the fitting machine marking the polished rim....

His boss then suggested he use the plastic rim guards on top of the machine and not damage customers wheels....

I told the boss what he had done and he sorted the situation......

I then needed the rears done later and went to a different branch of this local company and spoke to another fitter who straight away spotted that the wheels were reverse fit ones...

he then removed my front wheels, removed the tyres from old alloys and then fitted the tyres to my new wheels and balanced them fine.....

The same boss turned up whilst he was doing this and was very apologetic and seemed genuinely sorry....

They fitted the front wheels and I paid for the these 2 and left........

I got home and decided to sort out locking nuts and rear wheels..... I am sooooo glad I did this....

The wheels have 2 lots of 5 holes for 5x114.3 and 5x112 at a guess as they are very similar.... The fitter had used the 5x112 holes as the nuts were all very loose just from the drive home......

To make things worse he had left the spigot ring in one of the old alloys so it was ready to drop off anytime!

I have now removed and refitted front wheels using correct PCD holes....... Fitted spigot ring...... and fitted rear wheels........ All now done properly......

I did find out that Supra nuts are a different thread to Z ones...... so none of the locking nuts or short fitting nuts are any good, so trip to wheel company to buy short nuts tomorrow so I can fit the centre caps as the nuts I have are way too long....

Oh and made an Amplifier board to temporarily fit 2 x 12" Cerwin vega subs and a Sony amp supplying them with 380W RMS each...... can't wait to get my bass back......lol

So been a productive day....... sort of!!!

Nice - I used their car shampoo last weekend. The ingredients read like some exotic foam bath formula rather than a car wash.... Smells fantastic though and it does a good job!!

Hi I like the colour & I personally do not like high spoilers!

Urs looks very nice & I prefer low look with the z.

TLC !

Nice colour, which body shop did you use?

Thanks. It's Aston Martin viper blue, has a nice tint to it in sunlight.

I used Ross at the body shop in bowerhill Melksham. He sprayed my brothers 300 and was a really nice job.

Unfortunatly I haven't been so luckily, although that's proberly my thought for putting the fibreglass wings on which are starting to crack and spider in places.

Am Undecided about what to do with them at this stage. ( may put originals back on ).

Still like to pop down Sometime to see your project if the offer is still open. Your only down the road.
