  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Fit PowerTrix fuse box cover, bonnet doesn't close with it on though, it's cos the cover is completely flat and doesn't have that step down, will find a solution another day...........perhaps grind out a hole in the bonnet but then I'll have to do the same on the other side to match :tongue_smilie:.

Well I have just got myself a unit so I can finish off my Zed as she has been locked away since I moved home in October. The new unit is indoors and can hold four cars so after this project I might get another.

Need my car ready this year!!

I went on a long drive.

I drove out with the HICAS locked and came back with it working. I don't want to be on the fence but they're both good modes lol I have replaced my bushes so it does lock properly and does work probably not far off the way it did in 1990.

With it locked, on the greasy wet and cold roads I was on, I had a lot more confidence pushing myself out of corners on the throttle, not big reckless slides, but I often have the steering wheel straight from the apex to the exit just being pushed round by the tail, one wheel slipping a bit the other one looking nervous. This is really tricky to do with the HICAS working, however... it is a lovely feeling with it working to be able to dart through a slalom in 4th say, with the car changing direction like a hammerhead shark.

Zeds are wicked :-)

Stunning car tom  my Mrs has family in Bishop! Small world.

Nice one mate - Murt's old car has itself another owner in very quick succession.... Hopefully a keeper this time though; eh?.....:flowers:

Me? Well one month of being SORNd was enough.... So I taxed it this morning, then took a little trip to the petrol station. However what with it being a nice sunny day, I realised just how much I had missed driving the ZX in the last few weeks - so I carried on driving for a bit longer..... And by the time I got home, I had covered over 100 miles!!!

Gotta love the ZX....

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Had the last one 5 years and don't see any reason why I wouldn't keep this one even longer. Still loving the Zed !

removed rear wiper motor, quick clean and tapped up the holes so the boot doesnt become a swimming pool

Fitted front caliper relocation brackets which then enabled me to fit New 324mm discs from a 350Z...too wet to then get it out and bed them in though:(

Got rid of the awful Momo steering wheel and fitted my new one.

Then ripped out all the centre console and started clearing up some of the wiring mess and prepping for installing a USB charger and my new stereo.
