Now, if anyone has any tips for getting the sealing tar in these out of dog fur.........

Nice job Si, looks loads better doesn't it.

I haven't touched the Z for a few weeks, but I did order a new engine for it (which I've been messed around something chronic) so on the lookout for another similar engine for the new project, I'll have one soon ;)

Next real change for me will be a manual conversion, cos this slushbox is getting right on my chebs!!

The new project....?? :detective:

a company called Freakyparts special order £55, looking forward to fitting them and see if it makes any difference to front wheel vibration.

no, 5mm.. I've had the standard ones on since I got the car with ordinarily 5mm spacers.. I think 10mm and bigger starts to become an issue..

i have 15mm still ok

put all the dash back and all the new pods and switches in the doors and mirror and lighter with the new l.e.ds that groover did for me put new omp stering wheel on put the sound system in but took the dvd and satnav out as the satnav gone pear shape

A cambelt change has turned into a much bigger job. Had to fix a water leak on the back of the engine so decided to do the plenum water by pass and a couple of other little jobs while the engine is stripped down. Gonna be well worth it when it's all done. Here's how she looks in Znut's garage. Been great working on it with him this weekend. Wouldnt have attempted this on My own.

Tom i cant work on the car this week now...just pulled my back out looking at the pic:laugh:

Surely they are bolt on spacers? I very much doubt the original studs are long enough for a 15mm spacer, the beef of a wheel hub and enough threads to secure the wheel?

no bolts on spacers ...

Haha, don't worry Bri I'll think of something, I'll look for a back brace on eBay.

Hks hard pipe kit installed, pretty straight forward no fitment issues or alterations required so thats a result in my book.

Although having looked at phutumsch's engine today i think my piggy banks gonna get smashed for new turbos, injectors, fuel pump and a visit to Noz !!!!, yes i have shiney shiney disease.
