I am looking for people to help me with my engine transplant. Although i am quite handy with the spanners, this is unfamiliar ground for me! I could really use anybody that has experience removing the engine from the 300zx. Even if you havnt done this before the more people i have helping the better!

I have use of a 2 post lift plus any tools i require for two days, Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th November. I can be there from 9am till as late as i need. This is a link to where i will be going, Ramp and Wrench

Please Please Please, if anybody can come down and help on either or both days, even for just a couple of hours, it would be very much appreciated! I really need to save my Zed and i cant do it alone. I would even be willing to pick people up and take them home to save there own petrol!!

we are going to pull the engine with Box still on it ...

its to much of a Faff to Mate the engine to box when its free standing

I see, does that still apply for an automatic ( I have TT auto)

Yep indeed just the same

Last time when i instal engine in my 300ZX it takes me 3 days (yep, days) to install gearbox on my own without special tools ( https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/1rEuM77M0c9KTsIoI5kG1dMTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm0?feat=directlink ). Its REALLY pain in the a$$, its the worst part in my opinion... This time i try to remove and put back my engine witch a gear box on it.

alot easier if your doing it by your self ...

but its each to there own on this really

Oh Mark, i've been meaning to ask you, would you be able to write me a receipt for the engine? Just for my service history thats all, so i have something to back it up should i ever (i never will) sell her.

i took the engine out and left my auto box in but ime going to put the motor back in with the box on it for a few reasons but the main one being i dont want to risk damaging the T/C oil seal..
