Went to install these today and now the bloody bolt with the cotter pin just spins in place !

It seems everything i do to this zed over the last two months is just a pain in the ass.

Does it not know i'm giving it quality upgrades or does the lady think i'm cutting her limbs off

and replacing them with prothetics.

lol

when i had my zed it was one of the reasons i kept away from after market underbody parts...you replace any 20 year old part with new OEM and it feels brandnew and tight anyway plus its going to fit with no issues whatsoever. Goodluck as ime sure you will get it sorted.

Well the issue i've got isn't with the aftermarket parts; its the old worn bits just wont budge !

I use mole grips on that just above the rubber.. set them so tight so you can just about squeese them.. let the grips lock against the back of the disc then plenty of heat and job done

Well took some advise from above and got hold of a nut splitter : no luck

Bloody nut has a tapered bottom part and of course the tool doesnt fit over it and stay on so

i was back to square one again, then tried the vice grips idea and even wth them stuck on it still wasn't strong enough hold.

Finally after no option left i spent a good hour per side with a hack saw and then a grinder and finally got both sides off.

Out with the old :

And after the struggle paid off in with the new :

Good effort mate, only thing that annoyed me with the DW parts I fitted was after less than 200 miles the chrome had started to turn to surface rust!!!!!!!! Just something to keep in mind mate.

It's not stopped me buying more parts of them LOL
