I have in the past been unfortunate enough to fall foul of 1 or 2 less honourable sellers,

some may have been for unfortunate but questionable reasons, but others more like down right theft.

 

However, having read in recent posts that I am not alone, and by no means the worst effected, I thought it was a good time to post my more enjoyable transactions.

There have been many, but I would like to mention 2 recent ones in particular.

 

Firstly, I have had several items from Baz, and would like to say that his service and communication has been brilliant! the items were as described and priced very reasonably. He has helped restore my faith in human nature. (cheers Baz!!)

 

Secondly. I would like to publicly thank Mikey Bean also, He has shown great trust and integrity with my first purchase. Allowing me to take receipt of my items without payment up front, so as to allow me to return them if I was not totally satisfied. Even offered to not only deliver the parts, but offered to help fit them as well! I can not praise these guy's enough!!

 

I know that 99% of the members here are like wise and felt that is was a good time to pay homage to some of whom I have had the pleasure of doing business with.

i agree with Baz, always nice doing business with him, also JeffTT as well, i do not use his garage services, but his parts department (when i phone, not via the forum) has always been very pleasant, ok jeff is a business but still.

 

Though gotta be careful with this post, as being a mod i might come across as self congratulatory lol

I would also like to contribute, adding I have had fantastic service and transactions with Ian (300ZX_666) and JeffTT of Zed World, via the forum.

 

As well as this I have had help with issues from Rob Hughes, and received a much needed part from Steve (Z32Bolt) free of charge, which was much appreciated.

 

I also had bits sent to me from other members, again free of charge, and have been very pleased with ALL my transactions on the club so far. However, I do appreciate, there can be issues on some occassions.

The majority of our members in this club are honorable and trustworthy, unfortunately its the odd bad deal that gets all the publicity. Doesn't happen that often, infact fairly rarely, but when it does, it seems to be in spates of two or three.

 

Most of the problems arise through either bad or lack of communication or a misunderstanding, i dont think that anyone sets out with the intention to rip a fellow member off, but again, people need to read the trading rules and make sure that both parties have contact details.

I to recently had dealings with Baz & JoelyP, poor old Baz posted a air filter to me and the PO have gone and lost it God knows where. He kindly offered to refund the money, so he's lost out twice. JoelyP bought a second Twinz spoiler for me to pick up, never meet the guy before but he still stumped up the £££'s and placed the order before I had handed over my share of the wonga. Even meet up with him to collect rather than post the thing. :thumbup1:

 

As other members have said it's only a few1/2% that spoil this for the majority of us.

Its a shame that Royal Fail managed to lose my old air filter thats been with me on so many Z's :thumbdown: I guess the only way to avoid it is sending everything by recorded delivery, but when trying to keep prices down I usually just opt for 1st class.

i do everything by recorded mate, at least i know its defiantly arrived then, still even when i have posted first class recorded i got accused of stealing something when the damn thing had been signed for. so always always do recorded as a matter of course.

 

 

Another person id like to say thanks for, is actually ZX-TT, he let me have the gearbox before payment. top man, and no i haven't had an issue with him, big Jim is another, rev1richie is another. there are a few others who have helped me with free parts here and there. (sorry i haven't named you, but would need to check PM's)

Never bought anything of any body on here only dealing have been with many re Japfest tickets and passes over the years and never had a bad issue with any one

 

Even have had a couple of times people saying they would pay there dosh at the actual event and couldn't make it on the actual day and they then paid for the disused tickets afterwards

Thats just reminded me...I have a couple of Reps to hand out after my recent 18" wheel purchase...Gonzo21c the seller and Baz...his beautifull assistant :)

Ive not had any issues with any sellers, ive had parts of gonzo and baz and bantambunny and theyve all been very helpfull. Not only have I made some genuine friends through this forum but if it wasnt for this forum and some zedworld magic, car would long since been scrapped
