Helllo dear Zed Heds,

Guys, I need some advice on this please, i did some burnouts and doughnuts today. Then afterwards the car was feeling a bit funny, the revs were a bit too high. Within ten minutes the car stalled. I couldnt get it starting again. I tried starting without the fuel pump fuse, didnt work. found out that although the fuel pump is working (not very well though), there is no fuel passing through to the filter. Can anyone please give suggestion on what could be the problem apart from the fuel pump. Until today i had no problems.

Thanks guyyysss,

Vic

Well, with no photos of either driver or offending car or chav hangout where mentioned act was claimed to have happened....you're still at square one!

How in the name of Greek buggery would we possibly know that this wasn't you?

Nice Z by the way.....whos ever it is!

adding gimmicks like auto engine start etc.. may be the source of your problem :detective:

20 year old wiring doesn't handle more current than what it already has to very well

nah our electronics guy changed everything, i doubt thats the problem cos this only happened about five mins after the nuts, heyyy im gna upload to utube hes gna kill me wait a minute

annnnddd we were doin this cos we changed our tyres today so we wanted to completely waste the old onessss

Just his clutch, transmission and bottom end?

driving them like a chav who is trying to impressing there 14 year old pregnant girlfriend in a tesco car park is not going to do it any favors!

lol lol lol lol

Celebratory burnouts by experienced riders/drivers on race-spec machines at Motorsport events are acceptable!

geeees I dont think i would do that on a car that was stolen let alone one I owned. Not going to have done it much good! Thanks for posting though I enjoyed watching it.

i'll be honest i used to do shit like that all the time when i was younger, but they were in 50 quid ford sierra's i bought from auctions! i hope you have deep pockets to repair and maintain them zed's as they look nice and would be a shame to ruin them, especially when those later models are rare,

you both have nice 'jeds', but if you neglect a car it will neglect you... hope its nothing terminal! :(

Oh dear oh dear......:scared:

.....I'm sorry Vic (The realist...?????? Not the impression I get from this thread) but did you really expect us to be serious in answering a "help" question like this?

Those two Zeds look(ed) like very nice cars and treating one like that, I have no sympathy. Sorry.

Richard:sleep:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Lol I'll play devils advocate - those are sweet Z's and being 98/99 alot more exclusive than most of the ones on here. Yes he was revving too high during the donuts but frankly it was pretty tame and I'd be surprised if it caused terminal damage.. could possibly be a wiring issue as stated.

I'd Start by checking all your levels, check your ecu codes and go from there. We all have a little bit of fun now and again, depending on how regular the fun is relates to the chances of it being a serious problem ;)

I dont expect gettin the back wheels spinning from dropping the clutch will cause it much harm other than tyres and clutch, but doing that whilst pushing down on the brakes will put a huge strain on the gearbox, engine, propshaft, diff etc............i cant say ive never done a burnout but id never do it for more than a few seconds because your asking for problems!

could be anything but sounds like pump.

remember they are getting old now and driving them like a chav who is trying to impressing there 14 year old pregnant girlfriend in a tesco car park is not going to do it any favors!

do an ecu diagnostics and read any fault codes.

search is your friend on "ecu diagnostics"

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

fuel pump working, but no fuel being passed through the filter, If it´s not the fuel pump relay then it may be my "favourite" the Fuel pump control module :)

guyssssssss, it was such a simple thing. what happened was he overloaded the fuel pump. there was already a loose pipe connection and that came off. so there was no fuel passing through. once we reconnected it the car was fine again :)))

NO MORE DOUGHNUTS...i told him.

thanks for all the suggestions guys
