Took the plunge and went for a set of Kosei 18" 3-piece Split rims from Japan.

Wont be to everyone's taste but they ticked some important points for me - Low Weight (7.7kg), Manufacturing Quality and a big fat lip :)

F 18 x 8.5J offset +29mm

R 18 x 9.5J offset +37mm

Will tinker with the offset for an aggressive stance.

Got a bit of a wait though....Going to take 4-6 weeks to arrive by Ship from Japan :glare:

Very nice mate, Kosei make some great wheels.. just out of interest, are you buying them directly from kosei or somesort of dealer? - it's just the shipping times that made me wonder..

Glad you took my opinion their appearance! Attractive wheels those. With a light refurb, they'll look fantastic. Look much more like a Brabus design than the ones on Lorenzo's car.

I guess you got them from the Japanese Yahoo auctions. Did you go via WheelChoice/Bidschoice in California as per my recommendations ages ago?

Looking at the closer, they do appear to be mono-block, not 3 peice wheels. Maybe it's just the light.

JapanDyno at a guess? You'll have to let us know how your buying experience was with him, he always has nice wheels and other bits and it seems like a good service!

ignore the silly kit...

On the links thing, below that video, I came across this. Words fail me. That is one of theeeeee most disgusting Z32s I've seen in a while.

very nice, stuggling to believe the weights though, that's insanely light.

Me too now, thats TE37 sort of weight....will look into that. Weight was based on total shipping weight...which will affect shipping cost....

Very nice rims matey, but i do prefer a 5 spoke wheel, seems to reflect the era of the 300zx.
