Took the zed down to phils today and he worked his magic on the brakes. Swapping my GTR Brembo's for BAZZ's AP Racing setup & replacing the brake fluid. Also fitted 15mm spacers with longer studs which have brought the front wheels out closer to the arch rim.

BIG THANKS TO PHIL! :duffer:

What ya think guys?

Nice one, sell your Brembos to AnthonyD now and your well away.

Can i ask which way is the correct way to fit grooved discs?

The grooves on your old set are the opposite to your AP set-up.

That is a good question. I dont know what the technical answer is but when I had my discs around the other way as in the top picture everyone kept telling me they were pointing the wrong way. So cant help ya mate.

:headvswal Why didnt i buy 19" wheels!!!!!

Honestly, they look great on the car and a pleasure doing business with you Pete!

See, ive got the same discs as your old ones. And they're fitted the same way round.

I've been told that the grooves are meant to allow gas to escape () which would make the way you had them right.

But i also heard that, if the discs are the other way around, the grooves cut into the pads. Hmmmm......confused now

The AP setup is right, I got some new brembo slotted and drilled discs from brembo in a nice red box with a booklet/manual and the slots outside edge hit the brake pad first like the AP ones.

those wheels look awsome matey antera are the best wish i had them too love the brakes phil is a top fella good job

Nice one paul

Looking very nice. I like AP calipers. Would be tempted to paint that bell housing though. The blue just looks very out of place.

either way is ok to have the grooves but the way peter has his is the best way as it cuts into the pads so it brakes better, the pads dont last quite as long but you get better brakes :)
