Hello All, Some of you may be shocked at the title because yes Japfest has changed its venue from the Old faithful (Castle Combe) to the new shiny Silverstone. Quite a few things have changed this year with the booking process, so please read the below instructions carefully. What will be staying the same is that we have a combined stand with the 350Z/370Z club and Z Club, so it should be a good turn out for the Z's. I'm off to the goodwood breakfast club on Sunday, anyone else Soft-Top Sunday 01/05/2016. There has been a great deal of interest in the meeting and it promises to be a wonderful day. We’re very pleased to tell you that your vehicle has been accepted, and we would like to invite you to park within the Goodwood Motor Circuit where your vehicle will be on display for everyone to appreciate.

This event is on again this year in September (Sunday, 18 September, 2016 - 11:00 to 16:00 to be exact) It is set in Margam Park which is a lovely place with vast amounts of parking for those who don't know the area. I am going to take my Z32 and hopefully we can get a few more to go and represent! Myself and Dan (GIBSTER-TT) are attending Modfest 2016 at Orsett show ground A13 Essex on Saturday 20th Feb. We have a 4 car stand booked and would like to offer the remaining 2 spaces to any club members who would like to join us On the day. Arrival time to be confirmed nearer the date as it's a staggered entry system to allow everyone an easy entry. I would hazard a guess at 8am to 9am arrival. I suppose the easiest way to grab the spaces would be the first 2 members to firmly commit and pm me gets them. If anyone who commits cannot for any reason make it we will offer the space to the next in line ASAP. Of course any member wishing to come along …

Hi everyone, long time since i have been on the site but thought no better place to ask. I am going to look at a zed this weekend but insurance is proving a bit tricky. It's been a quiet year for me and the Zed due to work and where my work has sent me, however for 2016 I have been told that I will be mainly in the UK. So my Zed is coming out of her Coma and hopefully this year coming I will again be able to dedicate more time to our region. We will again 'ride out' around East Anglia and attend a few shows. Japfest have just announced dates for 2016......along with a new venue - Silverstone. I've attended Castle Combe numerous times and was always underwhelmed with what was on offer. Space always seemed to be at a premium. However, I have also attended a now defunct show called JTS at Silverstone which although it wasn't a huge event it was pretty well laid out and Silverstone was easier to get to and get into than Castle COmbe - especially in the wet! They're also offering camping this year. Something which was always missing at CC. Leading to the epic tailbacks early morning trying to get on site.
