Hi Bob, I recently enquired about having a Clifford Concept 600 fitted to me Z. Price was fixed for fitting until I mentioned that it already had an alarm on but I wasn't happy with it and I wanted to upgrade. They then started telling me that I could be looking at a shed load extra on top to strip out the old alarm, saying that it's a nightmare to trace the circuits for the old system. And that they'd had customers come back complaining of false alarms due to bit of the old alarm which had not been removed, reacting with the new one. Is this the case or are they just trying to sting you for extra cash? Tim ;-)

Having not read the posts from last night 'till this morning I have noticed something that strikes me as well...interesting to say the least! Check out the date that the profile was registered, me thinks that you guys are all being well and truly wound up to the limit. Don't rise to it, you're just feeding someones twisted mind and sense of humour which is what he/she wants us all to do. Later GeeZerZ Chill out Winston... Tim ;-)

..... or an extension to the 'contacts & Links' one. I've not been part of this forum long, but have already noticed many posts with good recommendations on where to take your Z. Is there any chance we can have a section that lists them all (with customer satisfaction rating)and their locations displayed on the map? I'm in the South West and can't find anyone down here willing to even get their hands dirty before they see a wad of cash. They take one look in the engine compartment and laugh wildly as the pound signs dance in front of their eyes. (places offering forum discount like in the 'wheel alignment' thread should definately be listed somewhere) Th…

Is ther ANYBODY likes this guy??? Everytime he puts a post up he speaks from his chocolate starfish! I wish he worked at my local garage - I'de get my car fixed in five seconds every time I went - 'cos he OBVIOUSLY KNOWS EVERYTHING!!!!! He seems to forget that some people who own these cars don't know everything about everything and might need a bit of help every so often - it doesn't mean they're thick, they just don't have much knowledge about the 300zx - so what!!! Does anybody else feel the same about this guy or am I by myself??? Andy PS What car do you drive 3304 or are you too embarassed to say??? ;)

Mmmmmmm. You're obviously of very high intelligence, I mean I for one didn't know that oil was thicker at cold temps. Do you have any other pearls of wisdom to share with us or are you spending some time off recouperating from this brainstorming session. Also..whats a 200 driver putting posts on this site for? Haven't you got your own site? What next...Micra or Cherry drivers telling us that the earth is round?

Anyone else noticed erratic readings on their oil pressure gauge im told its a common fault on imports especially.

I had to strip and rebuild the engine last year and I also beleave quite a lot of you guys have too from the posts in the past. Is the engine quite a common fault to go wrong or are we all unlucky.

GuyZ, Just been flicking through the posts on z32.org website (another excellent Z site) and came accross this little number... http://buzzs300zx.homestead.com/TSB_VLV.html I've been reading that Nissan screwed up big time with 90-91 engines with 1990 being really bad efforts. Comments? May explain some of this shite I've had to endure with my Z and point others in the right direction? Hope this is informative... CheerZ Tim ;-)

I noticed that most of you with Kuwaiti offshore bank accounts to play with in your spare time have done things with your turbochargers. When you mention 360 degree thrust bearings, what does this mean? Are these new uprated turbos from Garrett or someone else etc.????? I know that the TT has relatively small turbos compared to Supra TT's, is this why most people upgrade? Appreciate any advice and where you can get them from etc. CheerZ Tim ;-)
