The cherry red growler was back on the road at 1:00pm after yesterdays water pump fiasco. Big praise to Polesworth Nissan dealer ordered new pump yesterday (Fri) 4:40 pm rang me this morning 9:00am was in!! Had already stripped ready so matter of replace and re-build.Price reduction on pump so paid £71:17 inc Vat a couple of years ago this pump was £137+ vat! thanks to BeamerII for the offer of a used pump but sorted now.By the way where are you? Hi guys. Any help greatfully appretiated. Can anyone tell me how to convert from kg/cm2 to psi, cos i have heard 2 different ways, and am i correct in thinking that 10 psi = 1 bar. Next, can anyone help please cos not to sure what to set boost controller to. I have a blitz exhaust and air intake and have recently installed a hks evc4 boost controller but have not got an ecu upgrade. I have set the controller to 10psi (i think) but not much different. How high can I turn it without doing damage. Also would a hks fuel cut defenser be the same as a chip upgrade in this instance. Cheers for any help. Paul.

Just days after saying how good my zed was for the money the water pump let go big style this morning badd bad scrapping noise and nasty bumping switched off quick lifted bonnet found bits of metal everwhere!!! font bearing has disintergrated fan blade has thrashed about hiting every thing it could no no no Fri 13th knew i should of stayed in bed. Found a great way to avoid police attention, You can drive all night with just sidelights on, do 6 point turns in busy traffic, stop on zebra crossings and tailgate everyone. All you do is paint TAXI on a shoebox and tape it to the roof....easy Paul

Help, I have damaged beyond repair the driver's side of targa roof of my Nissan 300ZX. Thing is that it is an old model (E reg, 1987) and I can't get new. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find one. It is my hubby's pride and joy (we have owned it since new) and I must find a replacement.

Today I had my first confrontation with the police in my Z. Sitting in traffic when I see a police car came down the other side of the road stopped next to me and asked me to roll down my window. I did and he said "Your number plate is illegal" This is the number plate that I got with the car. Standard font, not italic, hidden or discoloured or broken. "Why?" OK lads, don't dis me for this one, you lot have had Zeds longer than me I need to take my car to the limit, I need to know the limits of my car and myself as a driver - I do not wish to try this on the public highway, death to innocent third-party drivers is not my idea of fun. So where can I learn more?, I pride myself on my excellent driving ability, but after flooring it up the A1 earlier today I am getting and idea of what this car is capable of.
