Hi guys sorry about delay but I have looked into in car camera / video gear and having looked at some very expensive stuff eventually looked at budget gear and found the actual result quite similar. The links below are example pics only to give you all an idea but the actual equipment I have priced is slightly different in appearance but the same technically. Basically a permanantinstallation would follow the usual video in boot ( 12 v power supply required) a loose lead for quick connection to a monitor or portable tv. (for viewing recordings and setting camera up) and the actual camera secured to the passenger sun blind fixing. It may be preferred though to…

Conforming to my reputation in my workplace and amongst my friends as a mine of (useless) information, I found the following information : http://l2.espacenet.com/dips/bnsviewer?CY=gb&LG=en&DB=EPD&PN=US5755101&ID=US+++5755101A1+I+ (I know its a big URL, but trust me) The information is something I came across whilst searching for an idea I had on the patent database. It explains the operation of one of the designs in quite good detail. You can search for the patent description on anything at : http://gb.espacenet.com/ Basically, if its interesting (and a gadget) it'll be protected (and described) in a patent. Post a reply i…

Hi guyZ, Just to let you know that I have finally got my O2 sensor replaced along with the PCV valves, fuel damper and fuel pressure regulator. Took about 8 hours to do the lot O2 sensor was the passenger side one and the injuries to my hands will not let me forget the difficulties for a month or so now... PCV valves were also a bit of a bitch and while I'm on it, the fuel parts were too. So why am I telling you all this??? Well its because the car now drives better than ever Also, just to say, if you do replace either the fuel parts or the PCVs, get all the appropriate tubing as well. When I took the pcv hoses off they literally fell apart in my hands.…

Evening all, I have a front end squeek/squeel every time I run over even a small bump in the road. And after Tony was in the Z on friday, he says he has the very same problem on his Z. I've poked, proded, bounced, & tried to rattle everything I can. Still havn't found the problem. Its quite loud, sounds like rubbing of roof tin! if you know what I mean, very high pitch. Anyone else got this. Or can tell me where to look. harve.

Anyone ever had a noisy wheel bearing? My late (96) import tt (only 38k) has a horrible bearing noise which sounds like a front wheel bearing to me. My local main agent will only say "yes there is a noise, let it develop" Hope it isn't anything worse. Anyone any experience of noisy wheel bearings on tt's?

...a cop motor, a four hundred and forty cubic inch plant, cop tyres, cops shocks, and it would have to be a model made before catylitic converters so it would run good on regular gas. Oh and a fixed cigarette lighter Joliet Glen Blues.
