and then about 10 miles later started working again. The speedo and everything else functioned as normal. Any ideas what causes this to happen anyone ?

After the discussion about pinking last week I took my car back to se nissan where they told me that it was not too much to worry about cos it was only doing a little, so they just adjusted the timing on the engine. Would this not surely slow it down? I thought they would have modifided the chip itself. Does the timing need adjusting when fitting a jwt chip if so anyone know by how much. Take care dudes. Paul.

I have just managed to post a few pics of my ride as well as evidence of my meeting with Eric in Holland. The pics were taken in the harbour of Scheveningen (The Hague) and the silver one is mine (duh ...). The last pic shows my car and my dad's Caddilac Seville STS. Parked like that in the street and people were literally falling over themselves! Great fun to be had in the land where Z32's are even scarcer than in the UK. Cheers! Have just been on TurboTechnics website to learn more about Hybrid Turbos. All very impressive but a few questions need answering for dumbo here! When is the best time to have this done in the upgrade process? Say that I am going down this route with my car... Blitz SUS Intake Blitz RealliZe Cat back exhaust JWT ECU upgrade ASP underdrive pulley Brakes and TC etc. etc. So where in amongst this little lot would it be a great idea to off turbos and get them upgraded at somewhere like TurboTechnics??? Also, they claim that for our cars and obviously some green you can expect 360+ bhp, is this just the turbos on their own or with other upgrades?…

I got an e-mail from him this morning quoting the shipping prices etc. It looks as if I will be able to get them to your doorstep for £180. Hey all, I am so f***ing pissed-off at the moment. Was "let go" from my job yesterday afternoon. Oh ho hum I dont take alot of notice of the stock (mmHg) gauge in my Zed, but after yesterdays 400 mile blast took her for some fun up the A1 tonite and noticed she wasn't pulling quite as well as b4 As luck would have it I have a pillar GReddy boost gauge - floored it in second and third and the gauge would not go above 0.5KG/CM, now I have been over to the unit convertor and that equates to 7.111 PSI. Where I come from that is safety boost innit?? Please say it aint so Glen

Very Flash Gordon styling in gold with light brown leather interior. 5 year old daughter decided it was better than the zed as the Lexus back seats would not give her a wedgie. So those of you with wee ones consigned to the rear seats - beware the wedgie problem!

I wentinto Nissan today to see about getting a ariel converter so I can plug it into my Sony minidisc. After waiting 20 mins for service a spotty geek came to serve me, I asked him for the part I want which received a very blank look, when I asked him if there was a problem he told me that Nissan didn't do a 300zx model (lmfao), I took him outside and showed him the aforementioned model, he looked a little surprised as he'd never seen one!!!!!!!!!!! Hello peeps, Just a thought but you see alot of supras and GTR's changing to a single turbo. What about a sequencial setup on each side of the VG30DETT? Not enough room? cant work? will blow the sh*t out of the block? Or, in 1989 nissan fitted a Supercharger and a turbocharger in sequence to a micra 4 cyl engine creating the Micra SuperTurbo. How about the same setup feeding 3 cylinders on each side of the VG30? Nissan got 110bhp from a 996cc by doing that. Are these the ramblings of a mad man? Later Trev

I want to get my tt resprayed and to fit a new rear spoiler and pos. front splitter. Don't want to change the colour so just an overspray. Anyone know of a good paint shop in the Surrey area or is it worth going further afield.
