Hey guys! Just wanted to know if either of you would be able to help me get my throttle bodies cleaned up. I made an unsuccesfull attempt this afternoon but couldn't get the bloody hoses off - didn't know how far I could go and certainly wouldn't want to break anything. Perhaps we could get together one afternoon/evening and get this sorted. As you know I've got quite a lot of time on my hands all of a sudden so I'm doing some much needed Z maintenance... hell of a learning experience! Would appreciate your help with this. Cheers! Hi all, Just started shopping around in the Birmingham area for my SO-2's (245/45Z16) and have been quoted everything from £210 to £260 each! I have now found a shop that will fit them for £166 each (incl. balancing, VAT, valve). These are the last pair they have and is a cash price. Is this a reasonable price or not. I need to make a decision in a few hours so would appreciate your feedback. As always - I'm grateful! Cheers! Dan

Terry F**kwit here is hoping to upgrade the sounds in his Captain Kirk before unleashing himself on his precious Z! Have had said Blaupunked head unit fitted at Harry's(was this a mistake? Probably!) and now my electrical aerial is well confused on a day-to-day basis and my speakers keep cutting out when I add any bass into the equation...so...I'm binning the cheap Radiomobile rears, probably OEM fronts and am about to order a set of four Infinity Kappa 4" jobbies as fuck all else will fit! Can't be arsed cutting and farting about! Anyway, digressing here, AMPS...have read as much as I can on some good sites about them, but I'm still not really in the know! When…

I've had the sample of the logo in: I have asked that they put a black keyline on the RHS of the 'Z' so as to make it appear 3D. I will get an updated sample tomorrow. Please note that I won't place your clothing order unless : a) know your postal address b) I know how you are going to pay. So if you haven't contacted me please do. I will place the order, this afternoon, that way they can get the clothing in whilst we approve the 'final' design. Please feel free to comment. Ta Tim

Just found a classic piece of John Cooper Clarke that I'm sure Tim would love to dedicate to that person he admires so strongly, Mr Green. Of course this is much better when read in that classic monotone Salford accent, but it's great anyway. Disclaimer: No insult intended to any persons alive or dead etc. Just an excuse to air some JCC. Like a Night Club in the morning, you’re the bitter end. Please bear with me whilst I plow thru all this shit: After jolly jaunt thru Eastern Anglia car felt a bit 'not quite as quick' So I go for an expulsion up the A1. Stock (Jap) gauge reads from -7 to +7, gauge reads on the last line before the +7 (mmHg) at maxed boost, foot to the floor et-al. GReddy gauge reads 0.5 kg/cm at above mentioned foot to floor activity. 0.5 bar or kg's or whatever equates to 7.1, which is smeg-boost, methinks. Car has been run on 97ron, no pinkies or unwarranted explosions in the cylinder, as far as i can hear. Run ECU diagz, code 55 - no worries. Remove Det-sensor connector on engine, code 34 - as it should be. Perform Henri l…

Hi all, This is a great web site. Recommended by a freind. I knew my Cruise Control on my 300zx 1993 model did not work for the last 4 months. Took my car to Nissan for a routine service and also told them to look at the Cruise Control problem. They came back and said that I need a new 'Cruise Control Actuator' part. They quoted me £324 + VAT !!! I told them to forget it ! Anyway, I'd appreciate anyone's suggestion where I can get this part. Thanks for your help. A.

They are "Z" rated (does that encourage you to buy them ) and are usually £100+per tyre. £300 and they are yours! ------------------ An icle baby 200SX..... but with 270bhp [This message has been edited by StuyMac (edited 15-08-2001).]

4th and 5th gear in my Z at 80-100% throttle seems to be putting so much load on the engine that the spark on at least one cylinder is being blown out. The is apparent by a light vibration and tail off of power under heavy load in these gears :-( Short term answer might be to reduce spark plug gap but this would produce a weaker spark and emissions wouldn't benefit. Any views on a permanent fix for this problem? HKS ignition amplifier maybe? Steve
