BIG REZPECT!!! MAZZIVE thanks also to the one and only AndyP, me old chummly warner, who chauffered me to SE from work in Stevenage. Thanks mate, owe you lots of beer! Anyone got some ? Looks like mine are shot to pieces. Talking about the grey things held on to the headlight shells by a couple of crosshead screws that adjust the horizontal orientation of the beams for both dipped and main.

ahhh haaaaaa. jeff/danny - you were right...... i had a look at my ecu under the passenger side and.... hey presto there is a Tomei de-limiter kit/box thing attached to the ecu/. sadly i dont think my zed is capable of the magic 112mph anyway! i am nearly surish/semi-positive that it is not firing on all cylinders. still, i am taking it to my local mechanic tomorrow morning to fix some stuff. just wondering if there was any special thing i or the garage guy doesnt know about the zx, and how to diagnose/fix such a cylinder problem. also i phoned the zcentre, and i dont think there's much the guy could do. i think i either need to buy myself some new springs,…

You are all gonna ban me from this place i swear!! anyways, got hold of my Fuel Cut Defencer, HKS Electronic Boost Control/Valve Control and HKS Air/Fuel Regulator all courtesy of Johnny (PS Thanks) Anyone fitted the EBC/EVC? Just needed to know which wires to unplug to disconnect the stock boost solenoids on either side? had a look on TT Net techs but the pics aint brilliant. and the 02 sensor has a similar wiring clip i think. does anyone know how many wires the stock boost controller has? is it 2? Thanks Oh and does anyone have any knowledge on how to fit the AFR? all the instructions are in jap so i'm a bit fu**ed!!!

I rekon that I could make a traction control device. All the signals are there already. All you need is a computer to compare the difference in frequency of pulses from front and back (left & right). If the frequency difference gets over a certain level then you cut the fuel to the injectors. I rekon with my knowledge of Electronics & computer programming, I could do this with a fast PIC chip. Could be worth investing the time!!! If I manage to do it, would any one be interested???

Does the press car still exist? The old registration number was G189TCD. It was a metalic black with full leather. Anyone one this group have it? Tim

Nov/Dec Japanese Performance magazine has a photo of the back of Johnny's Z on page 26. There's also a nice purple Veilside kitted Z on page 24. All from Trax 2001.

When I'm in 3rd gear, my gearstick moves backwards when I'm accelerating and forwards when i'm not, the movement is only about 3 mm but it is noticable, any idea's as to the cause ? I hope this doesn't mean the gearbox is on the way out! Herman

Had a set of S03's put on my Zed at the end of August and put about 3k miles on them so far. bugger me are they wearing fast! Yea I know hard acceleration/high speed driving naks them, BUT they seem to be wearing in the centre only. Im running them about 2psi lower than recommended (about 34 rather than 36). Apart from not hoofing it all the time, is it likely thatthe Hicas alignment could be at fault? I would think not as the wear is in teh centre only, I assume if the HICAS was cattled trucked that it would look like tracking wear ie one side scuffed. Comments appreciated, probably resigned to buying new rubber in the new year ......

Anybody got some info on this unit?? I believe this is to replace the Air Flow meter, and have twin air filters with no restriction. Also should give no restriction to metering of air flow, I think someone on here said there is a 451BHP max on the existing air flow meter. Leigh.

Does anyone know if all its settings stored in NVRAM/EEPROM, or battery backed RAM? Reason being is that the battery in my (immobile) (don't start Ajay! ) is dead, and has been for some time, and I wondered if when I get a new battery in there (i.e. in a few months) the alarm will have reset itself to factory defaults or not.. A new monk arrives at the monastery. He is assigned to help the other monks in copying the old texts by hand. He notices, however, that they are copying from copies, not the original manuscripts. So, the new monk goes to the head monk to ask him about this, pointing out that if there were an error in the first copy, that error would be continued in all of the subsequent copies. The head monk says, "We have been copying from the copies for centuries, but you make a good point, my son." So, he goes down into the cellar with one of the copies to check it against the original. Hours go by and nobody sees him. So, one of the monks goes downstairs to l…
