Me and my worst half used to have a 1990 Auto - had 2 lucky years with it but it got stolen. We have shopped around and found a gorgeous looking 1990 manual - leather, new alloys, in Scotland. Guy has had it for 2yrs from an import Co and is selling for a Fireblade. A 40 something guy who did no more than 2,000 miles - (done 42,000). Once we came down to earth, noticed a minor oil leak, old oil, but couldnt locate. He wanted £5,500, bought it for £8k, we knocked him down to £5,200. We felt that on the whole it seems like a good car - immaculate interior and body, and with a cam belt change and a check over for the oil leak, we should have a nice car for the money. …

Just wondering if anyone here has ordered from http://www.nissanparts.cc before? Seem cheaper than Courtesy, and their parts search *works* (they use proper Nissan part numbers, not Courtesy's buggered about ones).. If nobody has.. I shall be ordering as soon as my new credit card turns up, so I'll let you know how I get on with them! CheerZ Az

God, I must have had my grumpy old cow head on last night, sorry guys..... like someone said better to get it out on here than on your car or some poor buggar at a meet, as Tooley said that hasn't happened YET! I can't condone war on supra owners unfortunately, but porsche 'people' are another matter, and deserve everything they get so go and get them lads and lasses and sorry for the boring bitch act!! xxx

I've found that it's the wrong time to be selling my Chimaera and dealer prices are dire. I've got a choice of either selling now or waiting until the spring for the prices to go up. If I sell now then I save 5 months worth of loan repayments. SO ... If someone is looking for a serious bargain, I'm not going to be any worse off if I sell the car now for less than it's strictly worth as I can save myself a lot of loan interest. I'd be prepared to take £15,500 for it if it's sold SOON (i.e. it saves me loan repayments). I'm a member of the TVR car club and it's competitively priced (IMHO) in the club magazine at £17,000. If anyone is interested, please email …

Well I got my car back yesterday from them and can't begin to explain the grin on my face when I saw the job they had done. For anyone who is looking to get any bodywork done on their beloved Z's, make the effort and get it up to Luke/Frank, they are top blokes who know their stuff. It was a 6 hour round trip for me which meant 12 lovely hours of motorway traffic, but I have no regrets. I basically copied Simon H's (top bloke) car and wanted the wide arch side skirts, withought having the wide arches. Luke and Frank had not done this before but looked at pictures of Simon's car and said "we'll give that a go", so in my Z went. The other problem I had was my …

Do any of you guys Auto cross. Cuz you talk about power like it is everything. I live in Michigan so i am not fimilular with what is popular on the other side of the ocean. It is mostly about the "feel" of the car. Can you feel the approaching limits and how hard the driver thinks the car can handle to be pushed. I here about "yeah i pulled up to a red light next to a 1000hp porsche and i smoked his butt" what talent it must take to drive in a straight line. Almost as much as it does to make most of your lies.

What's the easiest way to get my pics up in the ride section - I just tried and screwed it up...... Cheers Vijay

Here I sit Broken hearted Was driving my Z Then it farted Clouds of steam All around Now I sit Broken down I topped up the radiator at the weekend and this morning noticed the drivers footwell was damp. Not sure if it was the targa tops leaking or something to do with the heater system I drove to work. All was fine. On the way home the heater seemed to be misting up the windows all the time so I suspected something may have been leaking. I kept an eye on the temperature guage but it seemed fine. Then after another 1/2 hour I hear a glugging, running water sort of sound from somewhere behind the passenger side of the dash. I noticed a change…

I was talking to my garage, and the subject of the Engine Oil Cooler came up. My thinking was that I could fit a 'larger' European one. Unfortunately I cannot quickly check, but apparently my model does not have one at all? Is anybody able to confirm? My TT is a 7.1994 manual 2-seater. Thanks, Geoff
