Right as some of you are aware I've tracked my oil leak down! Looking at the service manual which shows great diagrams of the oil flow round the motor, it would appear to be the Turbo oil feed return to the sump as somebody else suggested! So I've booked it into my very local Nelson Mandella for Saturday morning. Errr, this is not the Abergele Nissan dealer who are OK with 300's but I'm talking Dukes of Anglesey County Nissan Main Delia! GULP! These guys have real trouble booking you in using English FFS!!! Hey all any tips on regrinding the 24 valves??!!! just wanted to know if there is any surefire way of knowing you have done it right. i thought as the engine is apart i may as well do it. 24 valves, how boring?!!! still i worked out that if i start on a monday, do 2 valves a day, then i can have sunday off!!!!!! My 91 Jap 300zxtt has always eaten the inside edge of tyres and I finally got around to getting a full steering geometry check done. Was told that the camber is -2.5/-3.0 degs out and that there is no camber adjustment on the multi-link suspension. They suggest getting plates made up to attach between the wheel arch and the upper arm to move the top link out until it sits at the correct -0.5 degs. Anyone got a better answer? JN

Finally picked up my car From SE yesterday after 4 weeks of waiting, but let me tell you it was worth the wait. Not only did they sort out my non starting problem, they even put back my alarm system which was diconnected without me having to ask them, they also gave me a discount for it being so long and they even washed the car, I was astounded. The Upgrade chip has made a big difference to performance, getting about 340 bhp @ 11psi, it feels more!! I definitly "Enjoyed the Ride" on the way back. A few days ago my 300zx radiator exploted. motor verheting happens & I already change it. Two days later the Dealer told me water temperature readings were very high (240F). I order to chage the temperature sensor, and now the temp niddle appears in the lower position. Any idea, anybody knows what's the normal niddle position or temperature?. (and why my radiator could exploted?) ------------------

Seriously it must be me, this past week has been shit, first myrear main bearing seal goes, which i replace. Then it goes again!!!, this was due to gunked up pvc valves which i had reaplced. so i had it done again. Then after i get it back, it starts peeing tranny fluid everywhere- like a bloody tap!!!!!!! SO....... in it goes again- new bushes and seals on the box and its back on the road. Then i spend an hour getting rid of the tar stuck to my car!!! After a good run i notice two things 1) its not kicking down correctly 2) ive got a wheel balance problem!! I disconected the battery to reset the brain for the gearbox and let it learn again. everthing ok i guess. …

I have had my car not re-start twice when it’s been getting hot from booting it or getting stuck in traffic. Yesterday when I was driving to get some new tyres, I was following my mate who was flat out everywhere showing off in his Astra GTE. I needed to boost a bit to keep up, when I stopped, I idled it for about 2 minuets before tuning it off. I had to restart it to drive into the garage and all it did was turnover and there was a lot of fuel coming from the exhaust (over fuelling). After about 30 minutes it started on the button and was fine. Does anyone have any ideas or have had this problem before. P.S. blow away a Supra 3.0l Twin Turbo last night, He He He He …

Hi guys it's me again ;0) good chance I'm getting turbos done next week... my outside with more powerful turbos inside...I'll have more technical specs later on.... QUESTION: Putting bigger turbos in my car what do you suggest I sould get as minimum monitoring wise? I mean should I get a variable boostcotnrol? An extra turbo-boost gauge? any help appreciated thanks
