Does anyone know of a site where I can get Braided Brake lines for a 96 Range Rover sport? My next door neighbour arrived at traffic lights the other day and couldn't stop! He sh1t himself. The current system runs the brake lines over his air suspension tanks which when the roads get a bit rough tend to damage his lines. I suggested braided lines and to re-route them away from the air tanks. Colin

Say you want to accelerate quickly from either a standing start or slower speed so want to stay in boost over a range of gear would you more likely acheive that in a manual or automatic. This is for a unmodded 300zx. Basically what i am asking is; can you change gear fast enough in manual to stay in the boost region, with out breaking the gear stick off? Or, can the auto box be relied upon to consistently change up (not kick down) at a suitable rev range to stay in boost when the accelerator is heavily depressed, and does this depend on the setting (power mode, overdrive)?

I have one of these never been used (still in it's box). I want to know what it is worth? and is anybody interested in buying it from me? Thanks a lot, Mike...

Hi Guys With my foot to the floor my turbo gauge only reads 5. Is this because I haven't got an aftermarket gauge and therefore the original one isn't correct, or do I have a problem? Spencer :headvswal

hi all my car has picked up ap strange habit, when i start it from cold its fine, i will get to the bottom of my road about half a mile (driving v steady and on no boost at all) , where there are some traffic lights if i stop at them my car then starts to smoke vast amounts of blue smoke, if i then pick up the revs to about 2-3k it will stop but come back as soon as it drops back to idle. after 5 minutes or so when the car is warm it stops all together, and drives perfect no smoke and boost is fine and it pulls like a train, the car is a uk tt manual. with 66k on the clock pcv have been changed some time ago BUT NOW I checked the pcvs aga…

L reg gunmetal kingswood staple hill area last night about 6.30pm

Anyone know where I can new exterior trim from. The trim on mine has peeled and is showing the stainless steel underneath. The bodyshop suggested peeling the rest of the satin black trim off to reveal all the SS but I'm not sure. This is the trim around the windscreen that carries on up over the t roof to the back of the car. Also, has anyone had one of those fibreglass replacement rear spoilers from Z Worls. Mine hasa big hole in it and there doesn't seem to be any products around to fill it before it's resprayed.

Just spoken to the dealer I'm buying from. He says the car's gone through the MoT 100% and the garage informed him that there have been Coilovers recently fitted. Would someone tell me whether or not these are beneficial. I had no idea what they were until I had a quick search on our forum and it seems from what I've read so far that they are desireable for racing (which I wont be doing) but can give a hard ride for normal road use. I don't know the manufacturer of mine yet but shouldn't they be adjustable for both height and ride? Dave

Well chaps, Looks like my cambelt may have snapped!!!!! Just wonderering if any of you technical chaps on here rate my chances of fitting a new belt and getting away with it? I was doing about 5 mph when it cut out and there was no grinding/banging/clonking at all but i dont know what sort of valve clearances the zx has?, I know on some cars you can fit a new belt and retime and off you go. :confused: Anyway do you think its worth trying this or just having the car looked at and engine stripped? I want to try the belt first as i see it as ive nothing to lose.. Positive opinions welcome... Thanks guys

I locked the beast on the remote, put it in the garage, left it and the battery has died. Result - I am locked out and the remote won't work becuase there is no power. How do I get into the car? The key won't work in the door either because it is deadlocked. Nissan UK were very helpful - just break the window...ha, f'ing ha!! Any ideas???

I now have x4 new Eibach springs and two new rear shocks to go on the car. Before i do i think i need some suspension bushes but don't want to add to much to the cost of changes the rears. What kits are available and at what costs? Cheers
